I fully expect it to be one day only, tops. They might even switch to Storm Alert music later today when the severe weather outbreak occurs.

First Tornado watch is issued and bye bye jazz music. Indeed the alert music is playing. Looks like TWC en Español is using all the same music and graphics as the OG TWC from what little I saw of the stream. I was half hoping for today with the TWC en Español launch that they might do a graphics update across the board. They've been using the same graphics since 2013 with some updates here and there. While they have aged well I feel like now would have been a good time to do nice big update on the 40th anniversary.

Another Hearst outlet is launching the 4pm. WISN (Finally!!) will launch the new show, beginning June 6. Weekend Anchor Kristin Pierce and 9pm anchor Derrick Rose will anchor the new broadcast. Program lineup will also change 2pm - Tamrom Hall 3pm - Ellen DeGeneres (will be replaced by Jennifer Hudson in the Fall) 4pm - 12 News at 4pm Looks like The Good Dish would probably be burned off in the overnights for the remainder of the run.

Weekday reporting for Diane was obviously a promotion from weekend reporting, and back-up traffic certainly gives her the fast track to succeeding Roz when she retires, but a permanent anchor spot trumps all of that, even if it's on the weekend. That's the foot in the door to weeknight reporting on the other 3 days, and weeknight fill-in anchoring. That's why I wouldn't count Diane out, or anyone else, for that matter. ...Again, if they go with an internal candidate, which they tend to not do.

Pretty good get just after 6am this morning by Josh Einiger who was reporting live near the Poland-Ukraine border as Cardinal Dolan returned to Poland after a surprise trip into Ukraine. WABC dumped most of their 6am A block so Eineger could speak live with the cardinal right after he got out of the car transporting him.
