  1. I really don’t see what the issue is with Marza. Since he arrived he’s been on pretty much every newscast, so viewers have seen him and know who he is. I think he’ll fill the role more than fine and has proven he’s more than in it. It’ll be interesting to see how the morning plays out, for a station that had the same teams in place for so long, this will be the second anchor change in (as many?) years.. I forget when Ken left.

  2. That monitor on the noon is a few pixels away from being forced to air a Sinclair must-run with Boris Epshteyn.

  3. R.I.P. ABC's Tom Jarriel. He was 89. https://abcnews.go.com/US/former-abc-news-anchor-tom-jarriel-dies-89/story?id=115120826

  5. Looks like the set we were speculating for is dead. Juliette Goodrich posted on her Instagram Story they were prepping for the election night rehearsals from the virtual studio, I noticed something was off and it was more bigger than the first Virtual studio. looks like they built a secondary virtual studio but more bigger. You can see the portion of the old temporary set which was the existing previous set that was used when they were in transitioning before full chroma key newscasts. The newsroom set is now only used for weekend mornings and Noon RPReplay_Final1729744848.mov

  7. Noticed on GDNY late last week. It makes it look 1000% better. Hopefully we see similar backdrops make it to other shows

  8. FOX5 updated its screen art, and it looks really nice. (only Good Day and The Noon)

  9. I understand the questions raised regarding Marza. I think there is a youthfulness in his voice which is a contrast to the deeper tone (and impression of gravitas) that Ritter and Torres have. Marza is certainly qualified, though, and if station leadership felt it was a problem they could've either recruited someone else or had him work with a voice coach, but they obviously don't see an issue. Regarding Michelle -- though the assumption has been that she doesn't want the job, she said publicly during a live stream on her Facebook after Lori's departure that she did want the job.
