  1. The new set debuts today at 5pm. It’s similar to sister station KESQ’s new set that debuted late 2024. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1BvsvCdg37/?mibextid=wwXIfr

  2. John Wheeler is only the second chief Meteorologist that WDAY-TV Fargo has ever had. Come May 16th, they'll have to look for a third once John decides to enter a new phase after 40 years there... retirement. https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1073102168184588&id=100064544448955

  3. Same with KTVZ Bend. This could be the new NPG standard set.

  4. Steve Doocy is getting a new role with reduced hours on F&F. He’ll be around 3 days a week to do segments from Florida while Brian, Ainsley and Laurence will remain as hosts. Steve has always been the much more grounded force on that show for 30 years now. https://x.com/FoxNews/status/1917928235641299372

  5. Just a few days away (and there’s a look at their new primary logo)…

  6. When WXYZ switched to the 7 First Alert Weather branding in 2011 they started “7 First Alert Weather Days” not long after. They’ve been gone for years now. WDIV then rebranded their weather to “4 Warn Weather” and started doing “4 Warn Weather Days” which is executed in a ridiculous overhyped fashion. Apparently nobody got the memo there that it’s so last decade.

  7. Oh wow. The design of this set took my breath away. Im sure it might have a local meaning but that set it awful. I dont get this trend over past decade of shoehorning in "local" materials or designs no matter how minuscule it might be. That curved bridge thing with a monitor shoved in front of it makes it looks like a local high school talent show production in the school gymnasium/auditorium. I expect to see some teenagers come out and tap dance or try singing in front of it.... Let alone presenting a serious newscast. The logo, brand and graphics are just plain bad. Yeesh. The NonStop local with the red swish looks like a early 2000s dot.com tech start up. It so outdated. And the alt logo with the KHQ and Peacock on top of it looks hideous and just slapdash. Q6 LOCAL NEWS sounded better.

  8. Bad news KWTV’s Bob Mills SkyNews 9 a new Bell 505 has been totaled in an accident this evening while landing at Wiley Post Airport. Both pilot Jim Gardner and photographer Tim Young walked away with some non serious injuries, the 505 replaced the 407 that was totaled in 2023 hail storm in Pauls Valley Oklahoma and this comes on the same week that KOTV debuted the 505 Osage SkyNews 6. Photos of the helicopter before and after the crash.
