  2. So it is being reported that Gayle King praised the new far right MAGA boss at the CBS town hall. Does she have no shame? If it's about money i'm sure Oprah would be fine lending her some money so she doesn't have to continue embarrassing herself hosting a morning show that keeps hitting record low ratings with her as host. Give it up Gayle, you failed at every TV job you had. It should be a blessing a far right disgrace wants to get rid of you because nobody is watching the show you host, yet she is doing whatever she can to please Bari to keep her overpaid job. So pathetic She also criticized "leakers". What kind of journalist is against whistle blowers? A "journalist" who works for CBS "News" I guess.

  3. I can't personally defend this branding decision. However, I have several friends/past coworkers who are from New Mexico - it is DEFINITELY one of those places where, for some reason, the originally assigned area code is part of what people use as part of the local identity. Even if they are from areas that were split off into the other area code a while back. I've never understood the area code as part of the local identity anywhere, but it definitely is a thing that exists in some communities and Nexstar must have felt it was strong enough there to work as a brand.

  5. Since Albuquerque is the only market with stations that serve the entire state, why not "Fox New Mexico"? It's a good coverall since it's the only Fox station in the state. But somebody thought they had a good idea and had to be cool and stuff...

  6. "NYPost is reporting that the new MAGA CBS Evening News is on pace for its "lowest-rated January since at least 2000" and that CBS Mornings is also heading for its "lowest rated month on record" while CBS Saturday Morning is on pace for its lowest rated January ever.

  7. Univision's nightly newscast, Noticiero Univision, looks a little different tonight. They are merging with N+ (pronounced "N más) in Mexico. The newscast will go by N+ Univision. In the video below, they are spinning it as a win for better and more complete news coverage across the US and latin America.

  9. I don't think any aspect of CBS News is out of reach of Bari Weiss. Expect more podcasters on Sunday morning.
