  2. I'll ask my cousin who lives in El Cajon to find some home recorded VHS tapes of San Diego TV. Maybe he'll find a copy of This Day that KFMB didn't destroy. I really should find a way to transfer my VHS collection to digital files. I've got tons of rare mouthwatering clips from my nearly 10 years of VHS collecting.

  3. Santo Biasatti anchors Canal 13's midnight news on Wednesday, April 21, 1999. The Columbine massacre is one of the headlines.

  4. The last female morning team I can recall is Jill Becker and Karyn Greer on 11Alive. I DM'd Scott Jones of FTVLive on Twitter about his rather nonsensical assertion that this pairing would be awkward. I haven't heard back from him, nor has he changed his story. I'd be surprised if he does respond in any way...

  5. Stations tap ex-talent for random stuff like this all the time. WTMJ hired former Health Reporter (back when that was a thing) Kimberly Kane to do the "Every Day Health" campaign they do with Froedert Hospital. I doubt these spots are enough to even get her a CBS email address. If she does make more of a return, I doubt it will be to the anchor desk.

  9. As per RabbitEars, WSJZ-LD is licensed to Ocean View, NJ, and whose signal does not even think about touching the Delmarva region. What would Draper want with this station?

  10. WFRV and its sister/satellite WJMN in Michigan's UP were owned by the Norton Family of Louisville (Orion Broadcasting) who I believe commissioned Al Ham's "Home Country" for their station group WAVE TV/AM (yes they were used on the radio station too), WFIE Evansville, WMT-TV Cedar Rapids, and the WFRV/WJMN combo. (Fun factiod, the WJMN calls reflect the initials of Jane M. Norton) Carmichael-Lynch also I believe were responsible for 'CCO's classic "News for thinking people/ We're thinking news" slogan and campaign.
