Big changes at KYTX. Gillian (Kirk) Sheridan is moving to the mornings with co-anchor Clint Yeatts later in the fall, both Yeatts and Sheridan worked at KLTV back in the 90's and 2000's. Current morning anchor Dana Hughey will move the 5:00PM newscasts, while newcomers Tashara Parker (KAGS-NBC) and Bryan Boes (Former WICS Sports Anchor). First we lost Stuart Scott to cancer two years ago, and now we lost John Saunders. Two big giants of ESPN and SportsCenter. Rest in Peace and Godspeed.

Another change in Texas broadcasting, this time in Waco. First KCEN-TV is back of being KCEN-HD News to now Channel 6 News, and now a legendary Central Texas news anchor is scaling back her anchoring duties. Ann Harder of Waco's KXXV ABC 25 is stepping down from the 10PM newscast after 20 years of working the Nightbeat, but will continue to anchor the newscasts 5 & 6PM. KZTV/Corpus Christi - 10PM (April 30, 1990)

Twp big departures to report courtesy of TVSpy. WRTV 6 (ABC) main anchor Todd Connor is out after six years. The Indianapolis Business Journal reported that Connor's contract was not renewed. KCBS Chief Meteorologist/reporter Josh Rubenstein is leaving the CBS O&O station for job as Public Information Director for LAPD. Rubenstein has been with KCBS for 19 years since 1997.

Another piece of WSJV history is when they switched from ABC to FOX.

KHOU 11 News reporter Kevin Reece who spent nine years at the Houston's CBS affiliate is joining WFAA. There's absolutely no chance in hell WFAA will become ABC O&O; just remember, ABC/Disney is not looking to buy TV stations, and as far as I'm concerned TEGNA will renew the affiliation contract with ABC. No problems.

KYTX Just got the overhaul today.

Changes in the sports department at KTVT CBS 11. Keith Russell who was hired to replace Babe Laufenberg last year is moved to weekends, while Bill Jones moved to weekdays at six and ten on an interim basis. Now KTVT not only looking for a new chief meteorologist in their weather department, they're now looking for a new sports director/anchor. WTVT Eyewitness News Tonight (March 24, 1992)

FOX 32's 5PM Newscast was very good, but its been a long time coming.

WFAA Meteorologist Ashton Altieri is leaving the ABC station after three years at the end of August. According to Carolyn Mungo, News Director at WFAA said that Altieri is leaving to return home to Denver where his wife received a "wonderful promotion". WFLD will FINALLY have evening newscast. On July 5th, WFLD FOX 32 will start a new one-hour weeknight newscast at 5:00pm with FOX 32 News at 5:00.
