  1. Fell right back to their normal 3rd place levels. Gained zero momentum from the town hall.
  2. This week, Chris Licht will show his programming genius by running the town hall every night in Primetime with Kaitlyn Collins and Anderson Cooper is a box in the corner shaking their heads at anyone who doesn't like it! Also, new CNN slogan: "Get Lichted"
  3. Wonder if the fact Trump walked all over her in the Town Hall will give anyone second thoughts. Then again, she got her start at the Daily Caller, so maybe she had no intention of putting up much of a fight.
  4. A rebrand from the CW, IMO, is a matter of when, not if.
  5. Clearly positioning for potential local sports opportunities as RSNs fail, and also I wonder if we could see some simulcasts of CBS Sports HQ or CBS News Streaming? Even better question - are there options for the CW in those markets?
  6. The 69.2 Weather Channel even got a refresh. Looks good.
  7. As I said in the Lemon thread, Bill Shine is shaking the NewsNation couch cushions to find change to pair up Tucker and Don for Hannity and Colmes 2.0.
  8. Wonder if they got a C&D by this Weather Command: https://www.weathercommand.com/
  9. If you had just the 11 in the box, that would be a pretty good interim news logo, IMO. The two eyes are overkill.
  10. Try this: https://12ft.io/proxy?&q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.houstonchronicle.com%2Ftexas-sports-nation%2Fgeneral%2Farticle%2Fastros-rockets-att-sportsnet-southwest-purchase-17838568.php
  11. That's a big ol' bug for WAFB.
  12. WE. GET. IT. Geez, you’re getting annoying with this.
  13. The full-screen touchdown/Real Profile Pic of the players still looks out of place, though the execution is better than previous, IMO. Overall, not bad for a refresh.
  14. All comic book player illustrations replaced with pictures generated from AI in real time.
  15. So call letters are meaningless, except in this instance where they are the stronger brand, but then maybe they’ll eventually drop the stronger brand anyway because that makes sense.
  16. Just saw a promo for "Weather Command" where one of the claims is they might even "debate the data". Oh boy, wonder what THAT could mean. /s
  17. So, are we starting a new betting pool on when the schedule will change again?
  18. They put up a SIGN too for this "win"? From everyone's favorite site:
  19. From the article: No shocker here - Nexstar gonna run it cheap. Probably already looking for sports willing to buy their airtime for weekend programming.
  20. This is probably more likely that the return of network branding. I do wonder if Nexstar will continue the old CW Plus feed/service - if that still exists.
  21. I'd be shocked if anything NewsNation ended up on the CW. Maybe a NN-branded magazine show for the weekend, at most.
  22. Honestly, why? The CW for those operators is likely on a secondary channel or HD subchannel and probably runs on automatic. Why blow that up over 14 hours of programming a week?
  23. Sounds like it will end up a combination of MyNetworkTV and Dabl - cheap DIY shows and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives ripoffs and the like, with some syndicated deals in the mix (hey, maybe they convince the rightsholders to move In The Heat of the Night and Blue Bloods here ). Maybe some small sports league will pony up some cash to buy time for games to be broadcast. Especially considering the content deal with Paramount and WBD is only for 2022-23 (though could be extended), I'm not expecting much from the new CW.
  24. That or a way to repeat hours more easily. Fox Weather sure seems very much in the experimental stage.
  25. Well, if barely anyone is going to watch it, might as well not pay as much to program it, I guess.
