Michelle is subbing weekday mornings while Shirleen is on maternity leave. Diana is subbing today for Shirleen on the noon newscast.

The weekend newscasts are still using the news scroll while the weekday morning newscast uses the CBSN NY graphic at the bottom.

Jeff appears on CBS, WCBS and WPIX. He was on WPIX June 21st doing weather on the morning newscast. He was on CBS This Morning today.

Erica is doing the weather forecasts on Today In New York.

They used the CBSN NY bottom graphic on CBS2 this morning. There was no CBSNewYork.com below the CBS2 bug.

At 5:12 AM, the CBS2 news scroll switched to the graphics used by CBSN New York for the rest of the newscast. There were also no full traffic reports as Alex subbed for Chris.

Another day where Alex is subbing for Mary and they’re not bothering to do traffic reports. I find it ironic because this week you have Emily West subbing for Lauren on WNBC and Alex Lee is subbing for Heather on WABC.

Jummy Olabanji gave her goodbye at the end of the 6 PM newscast. She's moving to mornings at sister station WRC in July.

Jenna DeAngelis has subbed for Alex but I guess CBS2 would rather have her reporting for the morning newscast. Thursday they did have Alex, while subbing for Mary, do a few "Commuter Alert" segments after the weather reports but no full traffic reports. I also don't get why they no longer have a sub for Alex. Friday Jenna DeAngelis subbed for Alex.

Tuesday and today there were no traffic reports again when Alex subbed for Mary.

David Novarro and Bill Ritter are anchor breaking news coverage of the 7th ave helicopter crash.

John did the forecasts this morning. Vanessa is doing the evening forecasts.

Alex Lee is now the regualr sub for Heather at WABC.

Wednesday and today Alex was off and they did no traffic reports.

Jeff Berardelli is doing the weather forecast tonight.

Noticed Shirleen Allicot is not co-anchoring at 12 PM this week. I've seen Michelle and Sandra subbing. I wonder if when Shirleen goes on maternity leave if her sub is going to anchor the morning news and 12 PM? Always found it odd Shirleen did the morning news and 12 PM while Ken only does the morning news and David anchors with Shirleen at 12 PM.

Friday on Today In New York they got rid of the weather and traffic reports at 4 and 34 minutes. Instead they had Chris doing a quick weather forecast at 10 and 40 minutes. The total traffic reports went from 8 to 6 per hour.

WNBC made a change to Today In New York this morning. Instead of starting the top of the hour and half hour with weather and traffic, they started with breaking news, another news story then went to weather and traffic at 3 minuets after the hour and 4 minuets after the half hour.

Sunday night Lee filled in for Jeff who was filling in for Amy who was on vacation.

WCBS made another change to the morning newscast. John and Alex are no longer shown standing at the area to the right of the news desk for the start of the traffic and weather segments. At the top of the hour and half hour, Alex is at the chroma key wall and John stands at a podium. Alex did the other traffic reports from the news desk except for 5:45 and 6:45 when she was standing at the video wall.

They did no traffic reports Monday as Alex co-anchored subbing for Chris.

Chris was back today and Alex was off. They used Jenna DeAngelis to do traffic, after two days of doing no traffic reports as Alex subbed for Chris.

Alex was subbing for Chris who was guest co-host of "The Talk" today. Instead of having a sub do the traffic reports, they skipped the traffic reports and rebranded the segments "Weather On The 2s"

CBS2 has made some slight changes to the morning newscast this week. For some of the traffic and weather segments at the top of the hour and half hour, the camera starts at the side of the desk then moves around the desk and ends with a closeup on John. Around 5:25 AM they are doing a "CBSNEWYORK.COM Most Viewed" segment from the couch. Around 6:25 AM they have everyone sitting at the couch for traffic and weather and "2 Talkers" segments.
