There's been alot of Gray/Raycom news lately. Let me add another...... The Augusta Chronicle stated yesterday (7/12) that Gray has broken ground on a brand new facility for WRDW & WAGT, which is slated to open in 2020. The facility will replace a studio WRDW has been in for over six decades.

As the KDLT deal is being challenged, this KCPM deal has also been challenged by the owners of KRDK (the former full-power of KXJB).

The FCC has greenlighted the KDLH/WISE deal to Quincy. Let's go back to the question that was asked when this deal was announced: I wouldn't be surprised if they reverse the network switches.

Well, the FCC greenlighted Gray's KGWR/KGWL deal under the condition that KGWC donation to CWC gets consummated (either concurrent or afterwards). FCC greenlighted the KTWO deal to Legacy. But the KFNB/KFNE deal is still pending as of right now. What I didn't understand throughout all of this is that they'd used a low-power station (KYWF-LD) to count with the rest of the full-power stations in Casper, in the multiple ownership compliance part of the application. I thought LPs didn't count. Only full-powers.

Not sure. But I've always thought he only did it on an interim basis.

A couple of M&As tonight. Ion is getting another spectrum-less station. They're getting KILM for $10M. KILM has a CSA with Ion-owned KPXN, Also, Marquee Broadcasting acquires another GA station, WSST for $700K.

KSBF-LD is now KGWC-LD.

Don't know what Brady is going to do with this little station. Brady bought P/B's other station, KIEM.

Some M&As tonight. Pollack/Belz is selling KLAX to Lost Coast Broadcasting for $3.5M. Also Ion will be acquired four stations from TBN (Ohio's WDLI & WSFJ and Indiana's WCLJ & WKOI). WDLI will duo with WVPX in Cleveland, while WCLJ will duo with WIPX in Indianapolis.

Page 61 of this PDF is very interesting. I think they meant KTWO on the first call mentioned (KKTO). I know this is speculation right now by should this Gray/Legacy WY deal gets the greenlight, could Gray replace KOTA's signals on KSGW & KNEP for KTWO's? This would make total sense if you ask me.

That's the first thing that came through my mind. KDLH branding still have a "3" on it, despite being on 6.2. I wouldn't be all that surprised if "reverse" the move they did a couple of years ago.

New M&A. Looks like Quincy wants to acquire KDLH & WISE outright. I guess since the shift of networks after the Granite deal (each are now standalone CW affils), these two stations are now fifth place. Purchase Price: $1.74M ($1,745,661 (WISE $952,884 & KDLH $792,557))

Another O&O reporter is doing the same. Former ABC News correspondent, now KABC reporter Brandi Hitt did reports for not just KABC, but for KGO & WLS.

The books end on the 23rd.

That station can't catch a break with all these departures.......
