  1. Perez. And that was a surprise to all. I remember that day vividly.
  2. I see grant papers for KGWC, KGWR & KTWO. But not KFNE (which includes KFNB).
  3. She was the weekend sports anchor in the early 2000s.
  4. Former WABC sports anchor Samantha Ryan is doing sports tonight. She was on at 5pm.
  5. Samantha Davies is a meteorologist, but she only does traffic on the AM show. There's no Wx tag-teaming with Grant Johnston.
  6. Why do we need TWO weather anchors on the same show? Sister stations WCAU & WRC also follows this same practice.
  7. A couple of M&As tonight. Ion is getting another spectrum-less station. They're getting KILM for $10M. KILM has a CSA with Ion-owned KPXN, Also, Marquee Broadcasting acquires another GA station, WSST for $700K.
  8. Don't know what Brady is going to do with this little station. Brady bought P/B's other station, KIEM.
  9. Some M&As tonight. Pollack/Belz is selling KLAX to Lost Coast Broadcasting for $3.5M. Also Ion will be acquired four stations from TBN (Ohio's WDLI & WSFJ and Indiana's WCLJ & WKOI). WDLI will duo with WVPX in Cleveland, while WCLJ will duo with WIPX in Indianapolis.
  10. America's Watching's ABC. I remember that look vividly.
  11. Why would Sinclair complain? KNEP is Gray's station.
  12. Page 61 of this PDF is very interesting. I think they meant KTWO on the first call mentioned (KKTO). I know this is speculation right now by should this Gray/Legacy WY deal gets the greenlight, could Gray replace KOTA's signals on KSGW & KNEP for KTWO's? This would make total sense if you ask me.
  13. That's the first thing that came through my mind. KDLH branding still have a "3" on it, despite being on 6.2. I wouldn't be all that surprised if "reverse" the move they did a couple of years ago.
  14. New M&A. Looks like Quincy wants to acquire KDLH & WISE outright. I guess since the shift of networks after the Granite deal (each are now standalone CW affils), these two stations are now fifth place. Purchase Price: $1.74M ($1,745,661 (WISE $952,884 & KDLH $792,557))
  15. Another O&O reporter is doing the same. Former ABC News correspondent, now KABC reporter Brandi Hitt did reports for not just KABC, but for KGO & WLS.
  16. The books end on the 23rd.
  17. That station can't catch a break with all these departures.......
  18. The WJAX Hoffman deal is done. Closed yesterday (5/8).
  19. Another amendment regarding the Gray/Legacy Wyoming deal. On the KFNE/KTWO apps, they've attached a shared service agreement for Gray to operate, and an option agreement for Gray to acquire the LPs of the proposed Legacy stations.
  20. They're kin to the founder of WCIU, John Weigel (Tim's father and Rafer & Jenniffer's grandfather). Shockingly enough they kept the Weigel name all this time, even though its been owned by the Shapiro family almost the entire existence.
  21. A small M&A. RNN is buying another station. This time in the Delmarva. They're buying Western Pacific Broadcast's WMDE for $11.5M.
  22. The deal was greenlighted on a SUNDAY?!!! (4/22). It is now completed.
  23. So KGO is bringing back the Circle 7 pins?
  24. Another news expansion. WDSU 6 is adding an hourly 12pm broadcast in the fall. AM anchor Charles Divins & 4pm anchor Gina Swanson will head the new broadcast.
