They won't be moving until the new building is completed. And that's a few years out.

Okay. Follow-up. Someone uploaded this. This is from KETV. They're also will be airing GMA Day at 11am/CT on Monday. I know I said earlier it was doubtful, but now I wouldn't be all that surprise if the network supply an earlier 12pm/ET feed for these stations (WBRZ & sister station KRGV; along with KETV). And should that be the case, this would be the first time since Port Charles that the network supplied an earlier feed for one of their daytime shows.

Thanks for catching my error.

A couple of closings tonight. The deals of WSST to Marquee Broadcasting and the KLAX to Northwest Broadcasting, were closed last Friday (8/31). Marquee is in the process of getting Gray's WSWG, one of spinoffs of the Raycom merger.

So we all knows that the GMA's third hour begins one week from Monday. And I was curious to see what WFAA was going to do with the midday schedule. Will they keep the noon news and tape delay GMA Day, etc, etc. So I looked at the guides, and it stated at 9/10 that WFAA will have its "Midday News" at 11am and GMA Day at noon. Yet I did not see any press release or any confirmation that Channel 8 was moving its midday show from noon to 11am. But check this out, another ABC affil that air news at 12pm/CT, WBRZ in Baton Rouge, their guide says GMA Day at 11am and their local noon show is kept. So I'm kind of puzzled. If the WBRZ new schedule sticks and ABC is giving the show an early window (doubtful), then why WFAA is giving in to the network and move its longtime noon show to 11am, should that schedule stick.

Another M&A for Gray? It appears that Gray could be acquiring the license of the soon-to-be defunct PBS outlet KNCT in Waco. The PBS outlet goes off the air on Friday.

New M&A. Max is selling its last TV outlet. In Puerto Rico. Through CMGC Puerto Rico, their selling WOST (and the two LPs) to HC2 Holdings, for $2.85M. HC2 has been gobbling up a good chunk of the LPs and low rated full-powers as of late.

KTVT use to air Jeopardy at 11am (after TPIR), before they replace it with an 11am news. There been stations that aired IE at an earlier slot before. Anything before 3pm/ET, they're airing the previous day's shows.

From Mayra, The 3pm show will be a half hour. J! is moving to 1pm. Millonaire at 1:30. IE stays at 3:30pm.

That instrumentation in the end sounds like Craig Palmer. -
^^^ Another Hearst station is going midday. WISN 12 is bringing back its midday broadcast. On September 10, WISN will launch an hourly-11am newscast. That would lead up to the new GMA's third hour program at 12pm. I remember years ago when WISN had a noon broadcast, when did they drop it?

Seeing Phil working on a Sunday morning is no surprise. But coming in on the weekend of Lollapolooza is. Ever since Lolla came to Chicago, he seems to be off on the weekend of the event, except for today. With Tracy in tonight. It would be no surprise if Phil comes in tomorrow.

The top-4 rule was slightly changed to allow certain top-4 combos under a case-by-case basis.

So they wanted Fox so bad after losing it several years ago, when KOZL was KSFX. Looking at Nexstar's press release (which includes WHDF's deal as well) they're buying both of those stations for $19.45M. So the KRBK deal is worth $17.20M?

The eight-voice test was eliminated when Pai changed the media ownership rules last year. That's how Hearst acquired WCWG from Lockwood. I wouldn't be surprised if Hearst move MeTV to WMTW, relieving some of the clutter on WPXT.

New M&A from Hearst. They're acquiring Portland, ME's CW station WPXT from Ironwood Communications. Hearst already owned the ABC station there, WMTW. WPXT also carries MyNetworkTV & MeTV on its subchannels (in which the latter is carried on many Hearst properties). No price was disclosed, but we'll see when the paperwork gets posted.

New M&A from Nexstar tonight. They're buying Lockwood's CW station WHDF in Huntsville for $2.25M. Nexstar already owns the Fox station, WZDX. And as of 7/15, they're operating WHDF under a TBA.
