  1. Two good news for NY1, chief meteorologist John Davitt is celebrating 30 years forecasting at the station.

Plus, afternoon anchor Ruschell Boone is returning to the anchor chair tomorrow after spending the last 9 months on medical leave for pancreatic cancer.

Looks like WABC has ended social distancing with anchors like all other stations and is back to having their anchors in “pre-pandemic” seating

This was taken during today’s 6pm show. Liz mentioned they gone back to normal seating in 3 years. Plus, Dani Beckstrom (the meteorologist on the right) said this is the first time she has seen Liz Cho’s face up close.

WNYW currently has "Good Day Street Talk" hosted by Antwan Lewis, airing Sundays at 6:30AM. To date, both WNBC and WXTV Univision 41 are the only NYC-area stations without a weekend AM political/current affairs show.

WNBC used to have a current affairs show called "The Debrief with David Ushery."

I’m surprised they didn’t have a custom engraved KCAL logo for the desk and use a plain metal sheet instead to cover the CBS2 logo or at least upgrade the anchor desk to a monitor screen like WCBS and KPIX has.

Then again KCBS was the first to debut this look so everything is still original.

WCBS used to cover their engraved logo during WLNY’s newscasts from 2017-20. This pic was taken in 2017.

They have 5pm & 11pm weekday talent opens but stopped running them many years ago as a way save time and retain viewers during the transition from the 4pm to 5pm news and from prime time to the 11pm news.

They did bring back the 5pm talent open for one week in September 2019 as a nod to Diana Williams who was retiring that week.

Plus the 5 & 11 o’clock newscasts tend to be move faster than the other shows since they don’t banter with weather before or after the forecast since COVID.

To date, the only news programming on My9 is the Sunday "New Jersey Now" political show. At least with 10/55, CBS does have both the 9pm newscast and the weekly "Exit 10/55" political show. If FCC hadn't dispensed the "Main Studio" rule, that could've prevented the stations moving elsewhere

Exit 10/55 hasn’t aired since Richard Rose retired and moved to the Philippines in 2018.

I 've watched the Pluto Courtroom channel a few times. I enjoyed seeing Judge Mills Lane, Swift Justice with Nancy Grace and the first season of Hot Bench on there. I'm not sure if Judge Joe Brown is on there.

Judge Joe Brown is not on there.

I will disagree on this for now and believe KDKA-TV will modify it to match the current package when it launches. I don't see them getting rid of the Steelers/Pens/Pirates colors yet.

Especially after the paint on their vehicles, black and yellow nor KDKA ain't going nowhere any time soon.
