For WNYW 5, they'd have the Mahattan skyline buildings (like 1WTC, Empire State Building, etc.), the Statue Of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge as local landmarks that'd easily be in their Good Day opening.
Several stations have shown more color and design flexibility, in recent months. That said, WNYW has already recently gone in a new direction with GDNY.

It's a polarizing look, but I think the Chicago version works better, as there are simply more unique landmarks and imagery to use. Feels a little more fleshed-out. It's no coincidence that WFLD's current boss and morning anchor both came from Seattle.

‘Good Day Seattle’ (Fox13) has a new opening/look. If it feels familiar, it’s because it’s very similar to Fox 32’s ‘Good Day Chicago’.
New? The Good Day Seattle version came first.

All-new parade graphics debuted today, adopting lower thirds that are reminiscent of the collage-like panels in the news opens. The old St. Patrick's look was nice, but the stock banners used across all parades have long needed an overhaul.
(Baichwal, Butler, Rivera, Garcia, and newbie Lisette Nunez in the station contingent.)

@TampaBowler I've removed the leak, at the request of an frustrated Nexstar staff member. I don't know where you got those images, but I suggest you run stuff like this past me or other mods before sharing sensitive info like this.

Where did you find these at?
I'm not going to speak for the OP, but a member on our Discord verified the authenticity of these shots.

A version of the package with square elements instead of circles is also in use for KTLA promos, though that's been for several months. No sign that it'll amount to anything more, for them.

So its CBS News Mornings or the CBS Morning News (as it says on the set)? Which is it?
You just illustrated the absolute mess the naming structure is of CBS's 3...4? different AM programs is.

Do we know when WNT moves to the new studio?
"March." Probably the next week or two.

Is there anything they do that GMA didn't do first?

Yeah, this isn't a CBS-like transition. He'll be 66 next month, 10 years in a role that no one ever expected him to assume. Just stepping back from the daily grind. Good anchor, good guy, good for him.

He was in over his head at noon & 5 on WNBC, he was bland as all get out on ABC, so my expectations are low for Tom. I said it over the Discord, but I'll ask here; he was clearly hired to be NBC's Muir, but will he end up being more of a Jeff Glor?

Yet World News Tonight still has those archaic, squished 4x3-minded graphics (well, the lower thirds at least).
Which is likely about to change.

From here on, let's try and keep new studio/relocation discussion in the appropriate thread.

Thats wild! Glad they had a safe landing! Im sure they'll be covering that tonight in their newscast.
BTW, Does anyone know when the final broadcast from the UWS studio is gonna be? I want to make sure I'm there for it!
No reason to think it wouldn't be Saturday morning.

George just signed on for another year, so he's good thru '25. I believe Robin's contract is due up soon, so if the Strahan news pans out, her stock may be going back up.

What a mess. I know there's a variable with Carolyn, but it's kinda embarrassing when a major market station like this leaves their line-ups in flux like this.

That'll likely remain as the streaming studio, once the overnight shows move out. Could totally see Nightline coming out of there, though.

The WMAQ-type redo sounds plausible. Leave home base and (probably) the stage left stand-up, but spruce up the interview set and repurpose the 4th wall with the little nook. For the record, they did do the 9pm news from the interview set desk on Thursday(?), last week, so they hadn't completely abandoned the space, at that point.

Article does not state a start date. When will the newscasts start?
Nothing has been announced. All we've seen is that unconfirmed Jones report.

Not sure if this was ever brought up before, but the tamarin Hall Show has significantly improved its lighting.
2025: warmer lighting, smooth hd
2024: washed out fluorescent lighting, grainy HD
Tamron show always had a good set but this goes to show the power of how lightning and picture quality can improve the way a show looks.
Are you serious? The Hall show relocated to ABC's new headquarters at the start of 2025. She's now sharing The View's studio.
