  1. Nate Burleson in, Anthony Mason likely out come September at the moment, Mason expected to remain at CBS News.
  2. From what I’ve read, the format of the evening edition will be structured so that stations can choose to carry either 30 minutes, an hour or all 2 hours of the program.
  3. CBS News head Susan Zirinsky is likely stepping aside soon to return to a producing role at CBS
  4. To quote one Jasmine Masters, AND I OOP...
  5. Former WITI morning anchor Nicole Koglin is joining WDJT in a mostly behind the scenes role as director of strategic initiatives, which will also see her frequently make on-air appearances
  6. Katz, Scripps launching two new multicast networks this summer
  7. This feels like an overreaction; I don’t even think this is a suspendable offense in my eyes. She made a mistake not having the station sign off on her apparence but the scene is innocuous enough and the content certainly wouldn’t violate any morals clause. Hopefully this backlash will find Pinto new work.
  8. TJ Holmes joining GMA3 as co-anchor starting Monday
  9. Yeah...sounds like somebody’s telling on themselves here.
  10. It’s not quite this but WITI has replaced one of their Judge Judy reruns at 12:00pm with rotating E/I programming (mostly encores from the Xploration Station block)
  11. ABC is making another shift to its late-night schedule: 11:35pm: An abbreviated half-hour edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live 12:05am: Nightline 12:35am: An encore of that night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live https://deadline.com/2020/04/jimmy-kimmel-live-return-regular-slot-abbreviated-half-hour-episodes-leading-to-nightline-1202904078/
  12. WISN did a package earlier today discussing how they’ll be putting social distancing into practice for the time being
  13. Kathy Mykelby is retiring from WISN at the end of November after a 38-year run at the station https://www.wisn.com/article/wisn-tvs-kathy-mykleby-to-retire-in-november/23602333
  14. I’m assuming it’ll contract to a trio when one’s away; there has been talk of both Norah and Gayle contributing to 60 Minutes this season, so I wonder if Bianna is there to be a permanent part of the show without being delegated to simply fill-in.
  15. WISN is debuting an 11am newscast on 9/10, tied to the launch of GMA Day http://www.wisn.com/article/wisn-12-news-at-11-am-premieres-sept-10/22686560
  16. Wouldn't be surprised if this led to her heading to NBC Sports in the near future, with her being married to Craig Melvin and all.
  17. Dickerson is one of the better in-house choices, but I don't get why they don't just continue with King and O'Donnell as a duo.
  18. Quite a few Scripps stations carry Steve Harvey and when his new show's launch was announced, Scripps was conspicuously absent from the list of station groups carrying the new show (so was Hearst, now that I think about it). I wonder if this will replace it in their markets.
  19. ABC's been running promos teasing a one-week-only return of a mystery personality starting January 4th. I'm getting the feeling it may be Sam filling in for Ginger.
  20. Big news in Boston... http://www.tvnewscheck.com/article/89448/wcvb-adding-two-weeknight-newscasts WCVB is adding 4:30pm and 7pm newscasts to its lineup beginning January 11. The move shifts Ellen to 3pm, Inside Edition to 4pm and Meredith to the late night ghetto at 1:05am.
  21. And now, in what would be the ultimate Hell Freezes Over story ever, MSNBC is said to be close to entering talks with Keith Olbermann to return to the network, possibly in his old 8pm timeslot. The article also seems to indicate that the 9pm and 10pm timeslots are safe. http://www.mediaite.com/online/exclusive-nbcs-andy-lack-to-meet-with-keith-olbermann-on-possible-msnbc-return/
  22. Like the article mentions, Kornacki has been the primary substitute on Hardball in recent months so I bet he'll continue with that too.
  23. NBC Semantics
  24. MSNBC confirms Kate Snow anchoring 3-5; Chuck Todd's 5pm show will be called Meet the Press Daily. Changes take place September 28; primetime unchanged for now (though one site reported rumors of All In taking the empty 6pm slot and Rachel Maddow moving to 8pm, but again RUMORS)
  25. PoliticsNation with Al Sharpton to become a weekly Sunday morning show; final weekday airing is next Friday with the new Sunday morning PoliticsNation beginning exactly a month later on October 4. Another rolling news hour will take its place at 6pm. Another unconfirmed rumor has The Rachel Maddow Show and All In with Chris Hayes swapping timeslots starting September 14, though again this is unconfirmed.
