Kaitlin Monte signed off this morning from WNBC and she has now confirmed she will be the new morning traffic reporter at PiX.

Also, maybe Marysol's official last day was today but she took of today.

He didn't say a single thing to anyone in his post. He stated his opinion towards the news. You need to chill out because this is just inappropriate and entirely un called for.

The change is supposedly schedule for June 16, so they could just be advertising this for now. They aren't going to remove the 4-5am part until it happens, plus this promo is likely temporary since the new traffic reporter is missing.

That's the only other thing I could think of, but Suki says "Dan, I will cry everyday" and Marysol says "I'm a text away" to Suki. That's a bit much if Suki is just saying its great working with you. The only way we will know is if one or both of them are gone tomorrow. Then I think it is fair to say, that was their goodbye.

That REALLY does sound like someone is leaving. It actually sounds like both Marysol and Dan are leaving. And if true, this is a huge crime because in my opinion, Dan and Marysol was the best team on the PIX 11 Morning News.

Today was Art's last day at WABC.

I don't know that this needs its own thread so I will post it here... Diana Perez is leaving ABC tomorrow to spend more time with her children. She did hint that she would be back though. In terms of the next anchor, my money is on Marci Gonzalez.

David Muir is anchoring WN tonight, apparently he will be anchoring GMA tomorrow too.

Dari really isn't that bad but it's not really how good WNYW is but how bad WPIX is.

Their graphics are terrible. Extremely cluttered and busy. I really hope they get new ones soon.

This wouldn't surprise me.... it looks like Katie Couric may be returning to Today as a fill in for Savannah while she is on maternity leave. http://www.tvnewsinsider.com/22809 If this happens, I honestly would not expect Savannah to return as co hose after her leave. It would probably be like WCBS just did with Alex Denis and Jill Nicolini where Jill came in doing traffic while Alex was on maternity leave and now Alex is back doing something else. Hell, Savannah could come back as host of Meet the Press if NBC wants to kick David Gregory to the curb.

So the Sports Desk was just a 15 sports segment. Rather stupid. It was weird because Tamsen signed off at 10:41pm they also used a Sports Desk open twice. Rather than making it seem like 2 separate programs, they should have just said, now here's Scott with sports (for 15 min).

Thanks for the link. I actually like the idea of the show. It almost seems like GAA in a half hour on ABC Family. I wonder if this could be a test to see if they should move it to ABC?

They're not trying to beat PIX, they are trying to beat GMA and Today.

So it was a long commercial.... its happened before, it'll happen again. It's not like they replaced the noon newscast with infomercials. No big deal...

I completely agree and didn't think for the second otherwise that it is her seat until she wants to leave, I was just curious if anyone knows when the current contract ends.
