Here's the new talent open for the 11pm... New opens start airing tomorrow morning @ 4:30am. I will be waking up and will have the morning open for you as soon as it uploads.

They also were doing holiday promo shoots today.

No new WABC graphics... Just new opens and website coming soon.

He debuted on the October 18th.

In another tweet to @Ny_NewsObserver, he said: ""soon" [talking about the opens] sounds about right. It's a very busy couple of weeks around the newsroom for us.." So no new graphics and the opens should be coming soon. I also tweeted him and asked about a new website and received: "also overdue and in the works. Saw a preview of new design last month. It's going to be a major improvement" Very exciting!

I guess its has some similarities but who said that it wasn't going to be similar? New can be similar...

I personally don't think the debate graphics look much like the current but we shall see in I guess the next [2-3?] weeks.

I think thats the biggest thing, "things change." They may have Plan A one day, you tell us and then they go with Plan B and I understand that. I want you to know that I do really appreciate your insight and information. Any idea if a new website design comes with it or is in the works {praying} .

Looks like a new reporter has joined WABC, Dray Clark.

I think the biggest thing for everyone here is to relax because we really don't have that much information. We know they are going to Eyewitness News and "new branding will be incorporated appropriately throughout the station including show opens, graphics and advertising." That is literally all we know. So the drama about music and staff changes, etc... that is all speculation. What is written above is all we know for sure.

While many think Idler is killing WLS, I agree with him saying, WLS needed to be refreshed. Again, while many of you think the future is dim for WLS, I think it is very bright.

I wonder why he is just doing Saturday Mornings?

Here is a fun new promo for Eyewitness News This Morning. Note not only does the commercial have Heather, it is basically promoting Bill and Her. I love it and am glad she is getting in the commercials and ID's now. To me its just like the old "7 Minutes" commercials just with a new song. I like it a lot.

My bad, it was a graphic not normally used outside of medical reports so it looked new out of place.

They were doing a live shot of Jim Dolan in DC.

A possible leak of new graphics tonight at 11. It had a different lower third on the live shot and then it was partially covered by the current lower third. I wish I got a photo but I was taking it in so quickly I didn't think of it fast enough. If someone wants to DVR the rerun of the news at 11, it happened pretty early in the newscast. Hopefully the new opens/graphics etc.. will debut soon.

I have to disagree and frankly say I don't think it looks anything like the World News graphics. I think it was just a special done in house. From anything we've seen so far, the new graphics are more likely to be like the new top story cue.
