I didn't say one mean thing in my post. I didn't say I know what is best for the station and you don't, but I did say, your opinion is not set in stone fact and your opinion is not the only opinion. Your only making yourself look bad by using flamboyant terms and such words get you nowhere in life. Not one mean thing was said. You may not have to, but you do.

And who are you to judge? Are you the only viewer? Because your opinion alone does not mean anything and for you to think because that is your opinion that it is everyones opinion is just wrong. That is great that that is what you think (or should I say want) but the people with all the information from studies etc... have the facts and the fact is, that it was best for the station to update the music. In your opinion, but maybe that isn't what would have been best for WLS. I can not agree more. Spot on.

If you want to look at commercial like this, thats fine. Think of rather catchy and familiar commercials of the past. Even if they last 15 years or more they eventually fade away. Everything needs an update. They can't make everyone happy. Its music and I know I'm gonna get a response that talks about how you grew with this music and how its more then that but at the end of the day, it is familiar music, a familiar logo, a familiar spokesperson that just eventually ends. You can say it never gets old but that is your opinion and they wouldn't have made this decision if they didn't need to. So yes, you can call everyone at WLS dumbos or whatever adjective you want to use but it doesn't change anything. It doesn't make the cues come back. Sorry you feel like part of your life is over or whatever dramatic situation you call it but there is a point where you just need to move on. But that won't happen and you will probably restart this conversation every month for the next 5 years, I just need to get my opinion out there since you very clearly want to make yours known. I respectfully agree to disagree with your opinions on this, I'll see you in another thread, hopefully on the same side!

I also noticed Heather is now doing traffic in front of webcams now instead of just showing it and then returning to her after. I know WLS and WPVI do. And your right, he says Heather's name higher pitched than the others.

Here's the new talent open for the 11pm... New opens start airing tomorrow morning @ 4:30am. I will be waking up and will have the morning open for you as soon as it uploads.

They also were doing holiday promo shoots today.

No new WABC graphics... Just new opens and website coming soon.

In another tweet to @Ny_NewsObserver, he said: ""soon" [talking about the opens] sounds about right. It's a very busy couple of weeks around the newsroom for us.." So no new graphics and the opens should be coming soon. I also tweeted him and asked about a new website and received: "also overdue and in the works. Saw a preview of new design last month. It's going to be a major improvement" Very exciting!

I personally don't think the debate graphics look much like the current but we shall see in I guess the next [2-3?] weeks.

I think thats the biggest thing, "things change." They may have Plan A one day, you tell us and then they go with Plan B and I understand that. I want you to know that I do really appreciate your insight and information. Any idea if a new website design comes with it or is in the works {praying} .
