I have to say I am VERY impressed by this lineup. If they can't make this panel work, they need to cancel The View at the end of the season because this panel should be able to work. That said, if they do continue to another season after this one, rumors have basically pressed that Whoopi has no interest in extending her contract at the end of this season so that'll be a huge spot to fill. But maybe we should get through this season first

I mean, they don't need a fifth meteorologist. They could just do Tracy in the A.M., Cheryl in the P.M., Troy weekend mornings and Phil weekend evenings. To me a fifth is just redundant. That said, they'll probably stick with 5, I just don't see the need for 5.

I wonder how that'll go. This is his first time filling in for David. When he would fill in for Diane, ratings would go down.

I'm not expecting a big overhaul but some updates for sure.

Hopefully GMA has something in store. I'm really tied of their set and to me, it feels too industrial and isn't very "warm" which I want in the morning.

WABC will be airing FAB Life at 2pm like other east coast O&O's.

In my opinion, GMA needs a bit of a refresh in addition to Josh. Brand new graphics (more than the update), an updated music package (same general sound, just updates like Today made), and definitely a new set. My thoughts exactly. Give him a year to get back into the swing of things, then Josh and Lara anchor the third hour. I just absolutely can not see Amy being demoted to weekends, viewers love her and like I said, she is a rising start at ABC. The only way I see her leaving weekdays is if she gets weekend GMA plus weekend WNT with her name on the program. She could be the Lester Holt of ABC on the weekends.

I like Josh but I love Amy so I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, the show needs him back, but on the other, Amy is a rising star at ABC. Amy is the main fill in for David Muir on World News Tonight. I really don't see how this will work. Strahan and Palmer are both really good parts of the show too. Honestly, I think Lara is the weakest link right now, recent reports say viewers prefer Amy to fill in for Robin over Lara. Overall, I think this would be a great decision for ABC. Keep Strahan and Palmer on the show as contributors, Josh is news anchor, and Amy gets a new title on the weekday show.

I find it interesting the Shirleen is filling in for Lori now. That pushes Michelle Charlesworth out of the way, I wonder how she feels about all of this. Losing Michele would be a big loss for WABC.

I think we're looking a bit much into this. This happens every summer when there are a lot of anchors off at the same time and every summer this site goes crazy saying changes are coming. I'm not saying changes aren't coming, but this happens every year.
