What I'm saying is that the 10:00 p.m. timeslot is not one of Estrella TV's local news windows. I believe its 11:00 p.m. meaning that WKCF/Estrella TV Orlando will interrupt the final hour of national primetime programming from Estrella TV to carry the local newscast. Currently at that hour, its Alarma TV (Alarm TV) at 10:00 followed by Noticiero Estrella TV - Cierre de edicion (Estrella TV News - Closing Edition) at 10:30 p.m.
-
I'm not sure how they're gonna pull that off considering that Estrella TV's local news windows for affiliates are at 5:00 and 11:00 p.m., not 10:00 p.m. IIRC.

I don't know if I would call it as their crown jewel if their sister station nearby (almost 1hr, 20mins away) does better in the ratings than them.

Venezuela? Yes, especially in Doral. Haiti? Yes, especially in Little Haiti. South Florida is really really diverse as there's sprinkles of everyone in each city.
-
I forgot about their Venezuelan bureau too. Wow. And I guess the Haiti one is new to me.

If anything, BH has allowed WPLG to open up its very own in-house news bureaus in D.C. and Havana because there's no way Graham would commit to anything like that.
-
I believe everyone except WPLG rolled it out at the same time.
-
Never mind. WPLG has the new look too. Despite being owned by BH, WPLG still acts like a Graham-owned station.

Graham Media Group has a new look to their websites. https://news4jax.com https://click2houston.com https://clickorlando.com https://wsls.com https://ksat.com https://clickondetroit.com The only one that doesn't have it? WPLG.

First, it was CFRN Edmonton's Daryl McIntyre. Now, its CKY Winnipeg's Gord Leclerc. https://www.winnipegfreepress.com/special/instagram/anchor-leclerc-laid-off-by-ctv-564943692.html

I saw this live and I was like... huh? -
Clearly off from WUSA and Sky News used it too. But many are those promos too good to resist.

'Tis the Season for Holiday Programming

Yes! The WPIX Yule Log. It will be interesting this year as to how its handled as its the first with Nexstar on most Tribune stations but with WPIX taking over from Scripps. -
I think so many of us have it figured out.

Not to mention... BREAKING NEWS every time they kick off the broadcast. It's effing ridiculous.

TEGNA Broadcasting and Digital General Discussion

But the WHAS 11 News Night Team will be so much different than the Action 11 News Night Team from back in the day. No TEGNA or social media influence back then. Big difference.- 3735 replies

Woah. WSVN really has influenced the world with its Newsplex looks over the years.

Previously mentioned in the Discord app... KVIA will soon no longer have its Casa but will have a Valle. Estela Casas will not only leave KVIA but also television news entirely at the end of the year. Stephanie Valle, KVIA's 18-year(!) veteran, will take her place on weeknights at 5:00, 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. https://kvia.com/health/2019/11/06/abc-7s-estela-casas-to-become-head-of-university-medical-center-foundation/

I wonder what Gray and WCAX will do with WYCI. To the latter's defense, it has MyNetworkTV so that should be... something.

OTL started as a weekend program before becoming a daily program IN 2003 while still being aired on Sunday mornings (in which the latter would end in 2017 in favor of an expanded E:60). This time, it will be on Saturday mornings while SportsCenter Coast-to-Coast expands to 90 minutes, ending at 1:30 p.m.
-
Oh fuck... but to be fair and to their defense, it looks like WGN is trying to do it their way. As you see, the font is different than Nexstar's standard.
-
Oh my. That's not good. Newshub goes away and therefore, TVNZ One would be the only one providing nationwide news on TV (other than Prime's news at 5:30PM).
