Is Hearst still moving forward with this supposed new look? It's been nearly a year since it debuted in Fort Myers, yet it has never been rolled out beyond WBBH/WZVN...

I was wondering the same thing, as most (if not all besides Gulf Coast News) have updated their opens... Which is odd

cbsatlanta dot com still redirects to atlantanewsfirst dot com at the moment.

the domain will most likely be cbsnews.com/atlanta or cbsnews.com/georgia depending on final branding

say no more….I see where you’re going there with KMSP, it’s more white, grey and chrome.

From its Brick lofty studio look, the new KSWB set is slowly making its debut. Right now the Promo for their July 4th Big Bay just dropped from the new studio. Seen in the photo attached  you can see a circular anchor desk. Instead of a real surfboard that they currently have in their studio, they have 3 stenciled out surfboards covering a tv monitor.

Interesting shot -- I kinda liked KSWB's previous set... I'm hoping to God they get new graphics with the new set -- kinda hoping for the Nexstar Fox package that WXIN and WDAF received

WNYT, Albany, (finally) got new graphics and music this week.

The lower thirds look similar to what they had previously and it seems they created the graphic package at the station?

They are using Ascend as their news music. Also, for the first time since I can recall the peacock isn’t a featured element in the graphics. And the music does not have the NBC chimes.

As of now, they haven’t created matching weather graphics.

This is a definite upgrade from what they had been using

Not bad, but they either need to reduce the font size or increase the space for the headlines... Seeing the word Investigation on 2 different lines looks tacky

I'm baffled by this -- Isn't this why they wanted O&O's in the major sports markets?? Interesting to see what their "long-term" plan is with this....

I like it. The "Covering Hillsborough County" graphic reminds me of Hearst stations, so it must be the same font.

That said, the audio in the video clip makes it sound like the music is rather....lethargic?

No this is not Effra -- it's definitely the font used by the new Cox graphics package that just came out

Recently a WRGB/WCWN anchor went viral for anchoring their three hour long AM broadcast while in labor.

Interestinly their news director Stone Grissom has been filling in for her for the last two mornings.

The station is on the verge of short staffing as three of their anchors are pregnant simultaneously, with one already on maternity leave and another on paternity leave...on top of Liz Bishop's pending retirement.

I actually applaud when ND's/AND's step in when needed... I think it gives them new perspective that many times they forget about.

And also, Thur when the nasty storms hit Michigan a few spin up tornados were reported. The power flickered a few times but didn't lose it like a lot did in my area where I lived thankful for that, and was a light show didn't here all that much thunder.

Not to get off topic too much, but my sister avoided the Dorr tornado by a mile, and my parents avoided the Lansing one by 1/2 mile!

Nothing new they want people on their paid streaming to watch all the weather coverage it’s such BS but welcome to today’s media.

They're too busy covering local weather for Allen stations.. what would you expect??

Even WISH-TV's look keeps it alive after Nexstar traded over to WTTV/WXIN.  And WXIN's new look looks like a more refined GrayOne.

GrayOne hasn't even made it's way around the country yet and it's getting stale.  I wonder if they ever intended to take it national after it debuted at WANF.

They're doing the same thing as Sinclair did -- took them FOREVER to roll out and Sinclair's is what, almost a decade old (combining the glass/curves 1.0 and 2.0 looks) and also very stale?

I just have to wonder if GrayOne has existed alongside a Nexstar station (like WSPA) that looks very similar.  WSPA's is modified heavily, but it uses practially the same fonts as GrayOne and others (like WYTV, WHTM, WYOU/WBRE, WIVB, etc...)

Also of note, the Nexstar package has been around waaay longer than GrayONE

Woah. Scripps continues to go to the gutter.

WEWS' longtime Chief has been fired. After 22 years, Mark Johnson is OUT.

Whoa -- haven't really seen any news outlets do a quick story like this... He really must've done something wrong for them to post something like this...
