Mike Jerrick returned from rehab today. He explained his ordeal, too. They also added a couch to the set, which I hope they keep. It makes the set seem more casual and comfortable.

Kate Bilo's going out on maternity leave soon, so Matt may be filling in.

Chs 3, 6, and 10 are starting their morning news at 4AM Thursday to cover the snow. Ch 29 normally starts at 4, but tomorrow they're starting at 3:30AM to get the jump on all the important news at that hour. I wonder if that extra half hour will affect the February ratings book?

When they came back on, Rick Williams mentioned the cause was due to a computer malfunction. I wouldn't be surprised if their ratings were still higher than the other locals during the outage.

Tonight's Eagles/Bucs game is on Comcast Sportsnet cable and COZI-TV OTA sub-channel. I realize NBC10 has to show the Olympics, but I wonder what the Eagles fans that don't have cable and don't know where to find COZI-TV are doing tonight. It's only a pre-season game, but I'd think that some might be upset about not being able to watch it or find it easily.

Man, between the double graphics error and an extra 3 minutes of news, I wonder if some NBC10 employee might be looking for work soon.

One of the issues I had with it was if I missed it, they would not put it on the website. Viewers would ask about that and CBS3 would reply that they wanted people to watch the actual news program and wouldn't be putting it on the website right away.

I haven't heard anything. His twitter account doesn't mention anything. I did notice he wasn't on the LV Iron Pigs broadcast on Saturday. Maybe he's just on vacation. Not related to Bryan or sports, but I did notice two new reporters this week---Jim Vasil and Alexandra Hogan.

They also cut off during the O'Jays portion of the concert to switch to the NBC Macy's fireworks show at 8PM. In previous years, the concert would end around 10PM, with Philadelphia's fireworks right after. By the way, Hurricane Schwartz got some new wheels--Storm Ranger.
