The link I posted from FTV actually said they were interviewing candidates for "co-anchors", so it may be Erika and the new person together.

I always liked Mary Stoker Smith, who anchored weekend evenings. Wikipedia says she left CBS 3 in 2009, but doesn't say why. I believe Chris May was originally hired to be her weekend co-anchor. I also thought Anne-Marie Green was good, but she left on her own to go to CBS national news.

Don't forget about Susan Barnett. Was there ever a final explanation of her departure?

Sportscaster Troy Hein announced via twitter that he's leaving WFMZ next week to work for the CBS affiliate in Waco, TX.

They also have this, by the way. Maybe it's for the parking lot on "First Alert Weather Days".

She did the weather this morning and Violeta Yas from Telemundo 62 did the evening forecast.

Eva Pilgrim did her first ABC News report during GMA this morning. It was actually from Philadelphia, where she was reporting on the police officer that was shot. Dan Harris, the GMA weekend host, welcomed her and mentioned she came from the Philadelphia "powerhouse" station. She reported on the street a few days a week and anchored the weekend morning shows. I think she did plenty and was very good.

I've noticed they've decided to zoom in on the evening anchors when they're doing a single shot, sort of an extreme close up. The anchor's faces seem to take up a majority of the screen now, more than the other local stations. Is this a new thing with the Fox local o & o's now?

Reporter Liz Kilmer announced that today (11/25) was her last day on WFMZ and she was moving to Virginia Beach.

Eva Pilgrim had retweeted a message from a 6ABC producer wishing him happy retirement and showing him walking through the newsroom saying goodbye. David mentioned it on his own twitter page earlier in the week.

Reporter David Henry retired today.

Sorry, I didn't look there before I posted here. By the way, Cecily Tynan tweeted that she will be on the GMA marathon today in the 3PM hour.

I didn't think there was any harm in posting an FYI about a show airing on 6 ABC/Live Well that is somewhat news related.

Not really specific to 6 ABC News, but Good Morning America is celebrating their 40th anniversary with a 40 hour marathon, now through Thursday morning. Former GMA personalities scheduled to appear include Charlie Gibson, David Hartman, Diane Sawyer, Joan Lunden, Sandy Hill and more. It's being shown on the Live Well Network.

Katie Fehlinger will be returning to the morning news on Nov 18.

I know someone has to do the 4AM (yawn) news, but maybe he just wants to be able to get up at a normal hour, instead of 1-2AM. He also won't have to worry about shoveling snow.

Anyone notice they now have Kate Bilo sitting on the far left of the desk, near Ukee, and Don Bell sitting on the right, near Jessica? Isn't the weather center/green screen on the far right of the set?
