  1. I found it: https://www.today.com/video/look-back-at-the-biggest-news-stories-of-2017-on-today-1123080771583 It aired on Saturday and No clips or voiceovers of Matt. Willie, Lester, and Craig are heard a lot
  2. So is TODAY Show doing a Year Ender (look back) this year? ? Usually, they do one by now? The Press Release for upcoming Shows that came out last Friday and there was supposed to be "Best of TODAY" this morning. and one this coming Friday
  3. TODAY Show won another week in the rating and the first full week without Matt http://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/without-matt-lauer-today-show-wins-back-to-back-weeks/351744
  4. I was actually thinking about the last part of your post today. It's a real shame when you think about it. The guy who hosted the show for 20 years and is arguably the most popular host the show has ever had (Some might argue Katie is) and is the most successful Co-Anchor of all time of the Program taking it to new ratings height during which tenure the show spent 15 years of dominance at Number 1 for 852 weeks during which period the show was at it most successful ever and got it greatest ratings ever, may not be invited to the 70th Anniversary becuse hi legacy is now poibly somewhat tanrhsied becuse he was Fired (He dd not elave on hi own will in the graceful way Katie Couric did like everyone thought he would!) over Sexual harasment/Assult allegaitons. It is really something to think about it. Matt may be there but I have a hard time imagining him being there. But who knows It hard to say whether or not Frank, Barbara, and Jim will be there given their ages right now (Late 80s-late 90s), I think it will all depend on their health then. I think Frank probably won't be there if he is still living. I think Tom Brokaw will be there. Last I head he was cancer free I think Jane, Bryant, Deborah, Katie, and Meredith will also all be there. The person I wonder about is Ann Curry. Will he be there? For 9 Years Katie, Matt, Al, and Ann were America's First Family and dominated the ratings. in 2022 two of them may not be at the 70th Anniversary show
  5. Sorry, I don't know It's a bad habit. I did that since I was in school
  6. NBC News hires outside firm for mandatory anti-harassment training https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...rassment-training-n827901?cid=sm_npd_nn_tw_ma They are also starting to Interview Staff and Employees. I am guessing the On-air Host/Anchors are also being Interviewed as well and maybe some Former Executives, Staff Members, and Hosts/Anchors and some Former Employees even?
  7. Just so everyone knows this is where the new Thread is with the replies from the last week about Matt Firing, Possible Replacements week and other Rumors about NBC https://forums.tvnewstalk.net/index.php?threads/matt-lauer-stuff.16464/page-6
  8. I don't see Megyn lasting. The people who watch her at FOX don't watch NBC. I see her show being cancelled within a year and the return of TODAY'ss Take
  9. They are not pushing Savannah out. She signed a four years contract in December, They would not have renewed it if they were planning to push her out.
  10. I have to say I enjoyed watching Maria on TODAY Show this week. One of my favorite guest co-host. Which she filled in more often.
  11. Actually the new version when it was started in 2013 was kind of refreshing. It only became irrelevant when Natalie and Willie left.
  12. To be honest I tihnk the Third Hour had become kind of irrelevant since Natalie and Willie left. I have not watch that hour since July. What I don't get is why they brought Billy Bush on if they were planning to get rid of that hour anyway?
  13. TODAY Show has been beating GMA in Age 18-54 Demo since Aug 2015 which is what really matters to advertisers. They been Cutting the Gap with GMA in Total Viewership and have beat them i that category 5 or 6 Times in last year. GMA is losing more.
  14. TODAY Show ratings are not declining. In fact It the opposite. In December Savannah renewed her contract through 2020. Matt renewed his through 2019. I like Al. He really funny
  15. Hoda will be hosting with Matt rest of this week. Although I think I read somewhere it will be Nicole Wallace on Friday.
  16. I was not expecting some big lavish blowout on Friday with all former Anchors and Hosts returning The 65th Anniversary was much like the 55th: very low key with a couple looks backs. The anniversaries ending in '0' are far more important milestones. I am sure when the 70th comes around all the former Anchors and Hosts will return By the way I am looking forward to Natalie filling in for Savannah the Week of January 23-27!
  17. Natalie also gonna fill in for a week in January. I hope Meredith fills in to at least once
  18. Just seen that. Can't wait! Just in time for Matt 20th Anniversary
  19. Savannah has Renewed (Extended) her Contract: http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/nbc-renews-savannah-gutrhie-contract-today-1201933575/
  20. I tihnk Matt and Savannah have fine chemistry. sure it not like his Chemistry with Katie and Meredith (Nothing can beat the Chemistry he had with them) but it is better then Chemistry with Ann. they have found there Shtick. I tihnk part of Ann problem was she was just not good for that Anchor Chair (I like Ann but she was better as Newsreader) and she didn't do well at playing along with Matt like Katie, Meredith and Savannah. She was't there with a comeback and when she was it usually fell short. By 2011 she built a reputation as a hard news reporter who went out into the field and reported on location. Savannah may have had some issues (They all have) when she first started but she has improve and has come into her own. She always get praise when she doing big breaking news stories. I notice a change after her First Maternity Leave. Maybe there be another after her second.
  21. Matt has renewed his Contract http://pagesix.com/2016/11/29/matt-lauer-signs-massive-today-contract-for-20m-per-year/
  22. Matt and Natalie did not have a affair
  23. I wonder if NBC now regret having Billy and Natalie switch Jobs now? I know Natalie won't be coming back full time as a News-anchor (Which that Role was being diminished anyway when she was still there) or Host of Third Hour like she was before but one has to wonder if NBC now wish they had thrown more money at Natalie and given her a juicy contract with a big raise in order to keep her in New York? Although it sound like Natalie may have been leaning towards moving to L.A. anyway (With her regular role being decreased) as she said her and her family has talk about for some time then her Husband got a Job Offer and so they decided to go for it. Of course Natalie won't be back in Studio 1A like before on Permanent basic. Moving Coast to Coast is a major move and cost lot of money not like moving to a neighboring state. And turning around and uprooting the family again to go beck to NYC after only couple months would not be good anyway. But NBC has to be kicking themselves at the moment for the mess they created
  24. Brian Stelter on twitter just said Billy will not be on The Today Show tomorrow
