I am talking about female anchors promotion to weekday TODAY.

True. But while it too bad that Amy got lost in the musical chair/shuffle of 2011 and 2012 ass Amy said moving to ABC News saved her life. Amy like other Weekend TODAY Anchors of the past (Maria Shriver, Campbell Brown, Soledad O'Brien, Jodie Applegate) would not get promoted. Unfortunately Weekend TODAY Anchors rarely ever get promoted to the weekday Show. Only one has and that was Katie Couric. It is too bad really because when they join Weekend Show they do use that as a stepping stone with the intent of being promoted to weekdays. They all left for the same reason: they got tried of waiting.

In her new book talking about her battle with Breast Cancer Amy Robach talk about why she left Toady Show and NBC. She was Unhappy. She was going through a lot of stuff at the time (Stress along with anxiety attacks and other things and at one point she had a doctor appointment in early spring of 2011 where she found out her heart was damaged) and said how for the last few years she was not feeling the love anymore at NBC like they (the executives high up not her co-workers. she was still very much respected and love when it came TODAY Show staff) really did not want her there anymore. Her career has hit a dead end and she was not really going anywhere. she been doing Saturday TODAY for 4 1/2 Years. She had until 2010 been filling in for Meredith, Brian, Ann and Natalie but suddenly the calls started coming less and less. She was told by doctors she needed to slow down with working. in 2012 her contract was up soon but she was not hearing at all from NBC about renewal and her agent was not getting any calls and that made her worried. She admit that she really wanted to move up to Weekday TODAY when Meredith announced she was leaving. She wanted the Third Hour co-hosting job on the weekday show. When Savannah got the Third Hour Job job she then felt it was time for her to leave. And so she joined ABC. I should say she has no animosity for Savannah whatsoever. Just thought I should point that out. she doesn't blame her at all. She was at Savannah baby shower last year and Savannah was at Amy book party the other night.

One you leave you can't always go home as Sam and Josh learned. They are not going to boot Ginger off so he can get his old job back. they are still number 1 and Ginger is popular. It did backfire on them and I think they thought NBC would use them a lot about they haven't much. It did backfire Now Josh is another story. From the sounds of it he was a Diva. I think all those stories in the press were true now as in her book Amy write about how on the day that she was at the hospital for all the testings and when she found out she had cancer Josh called her because he needed to vent about GMA or something (probably had to with Lara) that happened that day. He obviously couldn't really vent to Robin and probably wasn't that close really to George. Amy was still fairly new so he knew he could vent to her But it was obviously he wasn't happy about how things were at GMA and would not have left if he wan;'t and considering his outrageous salary demands. They thought if they threaten to leave ABC would buckle but they didn't.

Watching Matt and Savannah meet The Pope last night at evening Prayer was a great moment to witness.

What does everyone think about these stories of Amy and Lara feuding?

Thanks for sharing that. I heard that Willie may get a Primeitme show on MSNBC but it too early to say. I think Willie will be Matt successor and I am starting to think Matt will leave at the end of next year.

Sources are saying she will most likely be bump down to 10 and anchor until noon. If she does TODAY at 9 and then her show at 10 there is no way she has enough time to go form studio 1A to across the street to MSNBC Studio to do her show. so likely if she does take over 10AM slot on MSNBC she will be leaving TODAY. when it was 11 she had an hour to prepare and go over,etc,. Changes are coming TODAY eventually but Andy is fixing the mess that is MSNBc. Jamie Horowitz wanted to demote Tamron last year.

Is Tamron about to be demoted from TODAY? According to reports from yesterday and today it says she will be taking over the 10am slot on MSNBC. TODAY Show Third Hour end at 10, before her show airing at 11 work because it gave her an hour to g go across the street and prepare for Newsnation. But if she take over 10 it would be impossible unless she did the show from Studio 1A but that unlikely.

I have notice that over the last few weeks too. Some day Al and Natalie will be there right at the beginning but other days they aren't and don't show up until after the first news story. This morning they were there at the beginning. I am not sure why they have change that or why some days are and other they are not. It like they can't make up their mind on what they should do. I say leave it as it has been for two years now. I do like Natalie sitting at the same desk as Matt and Savannah now. It adds for more Banter and better use of the News-anchor. Before you really didn't see the News-anchor very much. it was very little interaction with them except when it was time for their news briefs and at 8:30 outside on the plaza with maybe one or two segment where they were seen. I think they should have done this years ago during the Katie and Matt era.

TODAY Show is my favorite Morning Show, I watch it every morning and can't start my day without it. I have been watching it since the Bryant/Katie days. My favorites of the current team is Savannah, Natalie, Willie, Matt. I really don't have a least favorite except for I do not like Kathie Lee and I can do without Tamron. Other then them I like everyone else. I have gotten use to Carson and think he been a good addition. He okay when he fills in for Matt but I would prefer Willie. Just as long as h does the lighter News stories and Savannah does all the Hard NEws stories and Politics he okay.
