I was not expecting some big lavish blowout on Friday with all former Anchors and Hosts returning The 65th Anniversary was much like the 55th: very low key with a couple looks backs. The anniversaries ending in '0' are far more important milestones. I am sure when the 70th comes around all the former Anchors and Hosts will return By the way I am looking forward to Natalie filling in for Savannah the Week of January 23-27!

Natalie also gonna fill in for a week in January. I hope Meredith fills in to at least once

I tihnk Matt and Savannah have fine chemistry. sure it not like his Chemistry with Katie and Meredith (Nothing can beat the Chemistry he had with them) but it is better then Chemistry with Ann. they have found there Shtick. I tihnk part of Ann problem was she was just not good for that Anchor Chair (I like Ann but she was better as Newsreader) and she didn't do well at playing along with Matt like Katie, Meredith and Savannah. She was't there with a comeback and when she was it usually fell short. By 2011 she built a reputation as a hard news reporter who went out into the field and reported on location. Savannah may have had some issues (They all have) when she first started but she has improve and has come into her own. She always get praise when she doing big breaking news stories. I notice a change after her First Maternity Leave. Maybe there be another after her second.

I wonder if NBC now regret having Billy and Natalie switch Jobs now? I know Natalie won't be coming back full time as a News-anchor (Which that Role was being diminished anyway when she was still there) or Host of Third Hour like she was before but one has to wonder if NBC now wish they had thrown more money at Natalie and given her a juicy contract with a big raise in order to keep her in New York? Although it sound like Natalie may have been leaning towards moving to L.A. anyway (With her regular role being decreased) as she said her and her family has talk about for some time then her Husband got a Job Offer and so they decided to go for it. Of course Natalie won't be back in Studio 1A like before on Permanent basic. Moving Coast to Coast is a major move and cost lot of money not like moving to a neighboring state. And turning around and uprooting the family again to go beck to NYC after only couple months would not be good anyway. But NBC has to be kicking themselves at the moment for the mess they created

Savannah is having a Boy. I am not surprise as I been saying for a couple months she was having a Boy because of she carrying differently then last time.

She due in December so she is (or about) Six Months along now. Her and Dylan are due at the same time.

I tihnk when Robin does leave (which I don't tihnk will be for some time) I tihnk Amy will be her replacement. ABC would be dumb to promote Lara over Amy. Amy seem to be filling in more and more then Lara is. Any ABC/GMA executive who has read Amy book knows that she aspires to be a News Anchor of a Morning Show. It a dream job for her ever since she was at NBC. in 2011 when Meredith leaning towards leaving and Ann be frontrunner to replace her (which would mean a spot would open up on the Third Hour) Amy really wanted that Job on 9am Hour with Al and Natalie (who would take over as News anchor) however it went to Savannah Guthrie instead and she was left disappointed and ind of hurt about the whole thing. She felt like it was her chance to move up fro Weekend TODAY and she writes in the book that she thought it was her and that it should have been her that she deserve it after all those years at NBC. That is when ABC came calling and she decided to leave while the whole Ann Curry thing was going down although it was not publicly known. she knew she was not going to get the job

There never been rumors about Matt and Savannah having a affair. There been rumors of Matt having affair with Amy Robach and Natalie Morales (And Meredith Vieira) but they are definitely all false but that not to say Matt never had a affair outside of work.. Although there are high rankings NBC Executives who do bivalve that Matt and Natalie did at one time have an affair(From the Morning Show Book) but I do not believe it. Allegedly Savannah met her First Husband Mark Orchard while he was still married to someone else and he Divorced his First wife to marry Savannah.

we will probably be stuck with Tamron Hall now when Savanna goes on Maternity Leave! Natalie will be in Los Angeles by then. Hopefully they have Hoda filling in most weeks during those 3 Months and Tamron only fills in occasionally.

Congrats to Savannah! Very true at her age you have to really count your blessings to give birth to 2 Children over age 41. Some women can never have any Children. Hoping and Praying for a healthy Child! I understand her not going to Rio. It better to be Safe then not.

Interesting article in InTouch Magazine about why Natalie is really going west! Apparently at one point met with ABC Executives about possibly joining ABC. Okay fine however Natalie said this morning her and her family had been talking about moving to the west coast for some time now and her contract was up in November and that was definitely the opportunity Natalie was gong to use to move out west however NBC obviously wanted to keep her so they offered her this new role. At the end of the day it a win-win all around and a tremendous opportunity. It keep her in the fold witihn NBC wider family and also still has her appearing on TODAY and Dateline. As I said above she ends up getting a better deal then Ann even so Ann was pushed out of course.

No they couldn't Her Contract expire this year and if she didn't want to move West and that what they telling her to do she would not have renew it. They couldn't force her to go out west and be anchor there against her will. Natalie and her Family been talking about to move to California for some time. She said that this morning.

I wish some people (on Facebook and Twitter) would get facts straight and not assume Natalie was fired or forced to move! They wouldn't have forced her to pack up her family and move across the country It was her and her Family decision to move to California for whatever reasons we don't know. She planning to for some time. Her Husband could have gotten a New Job out in L.A. for all we know. Her Father in Law lives in Denver and so they will now be closer. Her Mother in Law does from Alzheimer's two years ago They obviously still wanted her as she will still be around out West and will still do Dateline and do Access Hollywood. She will still be part of the more extended NBC Family. Her contract expires in November and likely she was planning not to renew and at same time her Husband got a New job in L.A and while she probably I am sure respect er boss's for doing what they is best or right for TODAY Show and making changes probably saw the writing on the wall and didn't like that her role as News-anchor had been diminished in the last year but Natalie is not type to make a stink about ti and kept it to her self. And so NBC wanted to keep her in the Family so they offered her the West Coast Anchor role (covering west coast News) and Host of Access Hollywood and Access Hollywood Live while she continues to do dateline. When you tihnk about it at the end of the day she got a better deal then Ann Curry! Even so Natalie was not pushed out. I am still a little skeptical but we will have to wait and see. While I am glad she there going to be there I am going to miss her presence in Studio 1A with everyone else. Congrats to Natalie on her new role! Going from NYC to L.A. really is going to be a lifestyle change! It a whole different city with a differnet tormentor and is slower paced. It probably better health wise. You going from a High Rise City to a Sprawling Metropolis that is pretty much warm all year round.. Natalie will probably end up loving it there I tihnk because of the sun and beaches. Glad her kids are happy about the move as most Kids don't like moving and going to a whole new school leaving behind all their friends.

True I do agree. I really like Natalie. Although Natalie had been planning to move to California for several months now. at the end of the day we don't know why Natalie really is moving out west, there could be many reasons. her husband may have gotten a New Job in L.A. Also her Mother In Law died 2 years ago form Alzheimer's and Her Father in Law lives n Denver so they be closer to him now.
