And the loss of the ND had no effect? Just saying... BTW when you require a piss test to work as a production part-timer on a split shift you can bet those positions will remain unfilled. Just sayin....again. Note to Lynda... Stay off the company computers if you are going to view porn during work hours this time around... Just sayin.......again.

They should take a cue from the recent PowerBall frenzy...retool to "Billionaire" ABC can use some of it's secret Star Wars money to fund it.

TEGNA Broadcasting and Digital General Discussion
Eat News replied to ABC 7 Denver's topic in Corporate Chat
Well they said my sister didn't know she was preggers...but she was. They might decide they want some of those political dollars and "add" a 5pm....or the GM might just get a wild hair up his butt and switch back without consulting anyone on TVNT. The way it is now they get the best of both worlds.....kinda like that Caitlyn Jenner....easy to switch back.- 3735 replies

But what if they decide to go back to 5? Would it be "Live at 4 at 5"? The Dyslectic may get confused thus violating provisions of the ADA.- 3735 replies

Just think about how many minimum wage MMJ's and Anchors they can hire now. Maybe even have money left over for a new set???

Remember those Scripps folks are much smarter than us. Just plain embarrassing. (thunk)

Or... Put everyone out of misery by turning those Scripps stations into local Star Wars amusement attractions. "Brian Lawlor...the force say's you suck!"

We know her background...but she is just not a good "fit".

Time to thin the herd.

They got rid of all the experienced people...and it really shows. The ND Tiffany Lupensky is a cabbage head. She can't help this shit cuz she is too busy scheduling part-timers, and trolling for facebook "likes". The very first thing to do is to get the Weather Pinata out of there, and use "BandCamp"(Megan Parry) instead. BandCamp is a bit green...but she is local and has a sweet personality that is kinda grows on you.

Forget that, Scripps should be donated to Goodwill Industries so the people there can rehab it and re-sell it for the good of all. Scripps hires too many "Visionary's" in key management roles. These folks think they can make the ultimate digital platform staffed by only semi-brite, part-time college kids with no street smarts or journalistic chops. "What do people on twitter think about the rain?" "Here is a viewer(shaky, out of focus, wrong aspect ratio) flooded street in (can't pronounce the community name) Casa De Oro"........ Just as bad was the rudderless CW6 and the "This is a Sand Bag" segment. "These sand bags are filled with ssssand".

It just has to survive the 2016 political races...after that it will be scrubbed till 2020.

The parking area used to be t"The Lagoon" for Gilligans Island.....way long ago..... "Skipper....Professer.....mary Ann.....El Nino!"

I have always wanted to use the word "Frolick" in a post. Here we have Sam Champion frolicking in the surf with his hubby.

Anytime you are bring a transmitter back to life it's a slow and methodical process. If there was Ice or water involved in any part of the transmission plant you take your time. Assume there will be other problems as you "re-load" the transmitter. You work in reverse....the way they taught you "old school". The last thing you want to do it go flipping a bunch of switches and create new or miss unfounded problems during re-start. Subcarriers and cable linksusually are restored last... once system stability on the main channels and paths are fully stable and restored.

There is that gang called "The Scripps"...they fight "The Bloods".

Mario Lopez is from Chula Vista CA. Just south of San Diego. Please accept our deepest apologies, as we did not intend to offend you with Mr Lopez... But shit happens! Sorry!

How many markets use a single county's geographical and political boundries as the same for the DMA?

Not likely given the hundreds of applicants a San Diego wx opening will attract. They are all dying to come here and will work for fish...just like Shamu at Sea World.

Santos started as a reporter at KION/KBCA in the late 90's in Monterey/Salinas. Santos got his wx chops in Seattle and Vegas Nancarrow started as a reporter at KFMB in the early 80's. Larry Himmel went to WX after reporting ...but bounced all over the place. Keep an eye on Jeff Zevly as he is earning the nickname of "Larry 2.0"
