What is the typical source of the bug temp? Is it an official NWS station/ source or can you assign it to any old thermometer like a station one?

Disney has some experience with dogs. Goofy, Pluto, Lady and the Tramp...101 Dalmations, Sneezy Dopey, Sleepy etc... Those dogs make money for Disney and don't cost Disney any money. They don't eat, shit, bite ask for pay checks or have owners that get all uppity and ask for a paycheck. Disney can control every aspect of those dogs. When a dog in Disneyland no longer serves it purpose...the Disney Doggie Lawyers find a way to jettison the pup to the pound. It was cute while it lasted...but it's not making us any money.

Maybe you can send the dog a text and ask "Hey whats up dawg?" and see what he says. Is it a boy dog or a girl dog? Sometimes you can tell if you have a picture or video.

What is the over/under that one of them ends up being the spokeshole for one of the local heath care systems/hospitals in the area? Cuz that seems to be where most of them end up.

It's a case of a station that cannot sell airtime. It can be a crappy GM or GSM....a bad news product...or the competition took all the good advertisers. There just may just not be enough business to survive in that markert. (like the sad story of KYES) All the political races in that market may be dogs also. Now add... Sinclair being cheap.

That paint job is pretty bad ass! Think of all the fun the promo people will have with that. "We don't break news...we take a bite out of it." It's really what I kinda hoped they would do in San Diego.

A couple hundred possible copyright issues may have had something to do with that.

It's getting harder and harder to tell the difference. I watched the weekend offerings in Palm Springs and L.A. and they were both just as good / bad depending on how you view. Large markets need super cheap people just like the smaller ones. It' s really starting to show.
