  2. 40 years in the business and all in her hometown. What an amazing career. My dad grew up outside Richmond and whenever we visit his mother (she still lives in the area) he'd always remark that he was amazed Sabrina was still working. She's been at NBC12 since he was in High School! Enjoy retirement Sabrina.
  3. Hearst, Cox, Tegna, and Graham could buy Scripps with little to no conflicts. Isn't nexstar near the cap?
  4. the image of the KERO studios uses the old KERO logo from the McGraw Hill days.
  5. I would have thought they would have at least been retweeting show accounts (both ABC and syndicated) to promote the shows they air. Talk about not giving a damn about your ratings
  6. Check out their website. They also purged everything related to Allman and now the most recent stories are 2 years old.
  7. On one hand I'm really surprised Sinclair fired him, he seemed like a perfect fit for Sinclair culturally and clearly had no problem following the company talking points.....on the other hand when you threaten to "ram a hot poker" up a teenagers butt it's really hard to defend that person and keep him employed. My guess is that Sinclair will just take a "wait and see" approach by not replacing Allman with anything significant and hope that the Tribune merger is approved and KTVI can start producing news for KDNL (or where ever ABC affiliation in St. Louis ends up).

  19. You can still see Nexstar influence over the organization. From taking away employee benefits to cheap sets and graphics, to forcing stations to use Stephen Arnold themes.
  20. Yet the vast majority of Nexstar stations seem to be holding on to it for some reason.
  21. KRON, WFLA, WSPA, KASW, KXAN, KRQE, WBRE/WYOU, KLRT, KHON, KSNW, WFXR, KVEO, KWKT, WCBD, KTSM, WFFF/WVNY, WJBF, KAMR, WTVO, KSNT, KFDX, WJET, and WETM have the new website. Of the Nexstar "legacy" stations only KVEO and KTSM changed their web address, they are now simply KVEO.com, KTSM.com No Media General station has adopted the localportalhompage.net format so far.
