    I hate it when stations use their news branding to refer to a station as a whole. NBC Maine or Maine's NBC would have been better.

    With so many stations adopting this I guess this is the new Nexstar layout. a slight improvement over the previous one, but still a downgrade from the MG wordpress sites. It is encouraging to see the West Virginia stations drop the stupid "localportalhomepage.net" titles, hopefully other nexstar stations will do he same.

    Are Sinclair must runs insterted into newscasts that are produced by 3rd parties ? (Like WRLH, KSAS, WDKY, etc)

    The only one that still uses a nexstar URL in any form would be be WCWJ. they still use yourjax.com as their web address and online branding, but it is hosted as a section of WJXT's news4jax.com.

    one thing I have noticed with the news sites (other than the fact that they are awful) is that they aren't plastering "A Tegna Company" next to the station logo.

    scripps going overboard with ads. when you visit a scripps website it now takes you to an ad landing page for 10 seconds before taking you to the homepage.

    It's not unusual for WGCL to be number 2 or 3 at 11pm because of CBS's primetime lead in. Everything else though......yeah they're dead last.
