  1. Lawrence O'Donnell's future is uncertain

I think letting Lawrence walk would be a huge mistake. Some liberals out there are already whining about MSNBC's shift from liberal commentating to centrist news reporting during daytime. Giving Nicole Wallace a show and letting Lawrence walk won't please MSNBC fans

I really never liked him. He's too far left for me.

  2. trouble/drama at WGCL

Meredith's complete lack of patience at WGCL is annoying. Just when it seems WGCL is showing some signs of life corporate decides to clean house. It doesn't help that (in my opinion) they are showing way too much news. There is no point for a station dead last in the market to air news a 4,5, and 6; especially when powerhouse WSB has news in those same timeslots. Also not helping things is the fact that WGCL's syndication lineup is garbage. 700 club at 9am; infomercial at 1pm; Inside Edition at 7pm; and Insider (soon to be cancelled) at 7:30pm, that's it. Why they don't move some programming (like Hot Bench and Crime Watch Daily) from WPCH to WGCL is beyond me.

Maybe it's time for CBS to intervene?

  3. And here's their new logo. As dull as you can imagine.

At least that station is showing life. Maybe soon KWTV will start producing a 9:00 newscast for KSBI...er, News 9 Plus. (If it means anything to anyone, sister KOTV up I-44 in Tulsa produces a 9:00 for KQCW.)

They couldn't stay consistent and put the "52" in Goudy type?

  4. WJW and WPRI are going to get (virtual) seats at the daily White House press briefing. I'm gonna assume that the Skype seats will change daily or weekly.

  5. Any other NBC affils airing "Chi-Town Rising" after NBC's NYE coverage?

The only two I saw from the guides are WTMJ & KXAS. COZI is also simulcasting as well.

At the top of the show, they mentioned Dallas (KXAS), Memphis (WMC), Minnesota (KARE), and Milwaukee (WTMJ)

  6. So Dan and Lourdes are hosting the Thanksgiving Parade this year... interesting choice. I think they'll be better than Mark and Micah, who aren't really cut out for this kind of thing. Still think Robin and Paul were the best parade team.

Dan and Lourdes are the Morning News' B-team. And I really didn't like the Mark-Micah team for the parade, either.

  7. KOTV runs CBS This Morning on an hour delay from 8-10am, like WFMY. But they also have a 4.5 hour morning show, like WWL. They air the 8am hour of their morning show on KQCW.
