I'm not sure about Television by Design creating the 1995 'camera' graphics. It's still a mystery knowing who made it.

I don't know why, but this opener (also from 1995) reminded me of WXIA. Maybe the designers were heavily inspired by programs like Inside Edition.

I agree with you. Those graphics need to be changed. And I was thinking about that Image News could be used again, but with the 2010 updates. That's not bad.
