  1. This cut was great too. I'm not sure if WLWT is still using it, but WCVB pulled it off by the end of 2015.
  2. This WTAE headline cut is awesome!
  3. I'm not sure about Television by Design creating the 1995 'camera' graphics. It's still a mystery knowing who made it.
  4. I don't know why, but this opener (also from 1995) reminded me of WXIA. Maybe the designers were heavily inspired by programs like Inside Edition.
  5. I read once that he joined WRC in 1969, but became main anchor in 1972.
  6. 20/20's report on local news, anchors and consultants (1982), and at the end, a snippet of WCVB's 6PM news from May 1981, when Natalie and Chet had their daughter.
  7. This is what happens when Image News is in the hands of Stephen Arnold: (see from 0:06 to 0:36) And here's the proof: http://www.newsmusicnow.com/player.php?id=2915 Sounds great:)
  8. This open is from Argentina (I previously posted it on the International News section), belongs to the TV channel Telefe, and aired between April 1997 until June 1998. It's a good open, with a lot of time-lapse shots and a virtual studio; the music is the thing I dislike.
  9. Here's a very funny moment of Rich Fisher while working at WXYZ. He steals the cookies that Bill Bonds was promoting on the air. (around 2:00)
  10. Hoda Kotb anchoring NBC Nightly News on Christmas Day, 2004. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=rSvcN8A-Q60;t=0 I think that she did it great.
  11. Will Kristyn replace Carol Williams?
  12. I agree with you. Those graphics need to be changed. And I was thinking about that Image News could be used again, but with the 2010 updates. That's not bad.
