1. Mónica and César anchoring a Canal 13 update on November 3, 1992, with the latest results of the American presidential election. Juan Miceli reports on the phone from the US.
2. Canal 13's daytime magazine 360 Todo Para Ver covering the Argentinian tour of Luis Miguel in November 1993. The station was the official broadcaster of his concerts. At 4:02 you'll see the program's set with its host Maria Belen Aramburu and a huge spinning globe behind her. That was really expensive and fascinating at the same time! The program offered an update before 1pm, summarizing the show's topics. This one is from September 1993. Maria Belen Aramburu presents this update from the rooftop's living room. In 2000, that place became Canal 13's "glass" studio, where the morning, midday and late night news are produced. I like the shots showing the highways: the view from up there is excellent. And finally... the full theme used between 1993 and 1994, composed by Eddie Sierra:
3. Seven Nightly News with Georgie Gardner (February 23, 1998)
4. A full edition of BBC's North West Tonight from August 1998, with Stuart Flinders: I always liked that opening theme: it was different and less traditional than those used in the other regions.
5. Three intros of Telefe's legendary show Videomatch where Marcelo Tinelli and his gang "appeared" in some movies from The Beatles. It looks like they tried to imitate the technique used on the movie "Forrest Gump": the characters were incorporated into the movies' footage. The Beatles' voices were dubbed by local voice actors/comedians. 1994: A Hard Day's Night 1995: Help! 1999: A Hard Day's Night (again!; but they return to the present)
6. Some footage of a young Scott Pelley working as a reporter at WFAA in Dallas (1980s):
7. A promo of USA Network's Latin American service in December 1997, that aired on Telefe. It was voiced by Rodolfo Barili. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=oZlKoTk0wp8;t=107 IIRC, Telefe distributed the channel to cable companies across the country. In those days, USA aired Entertainment Tonight, Hard Copy and Bloomberg Business News, but I don't know if Spanish subtitles appeared on screen.
8. One of the biggest lies of 2004: Telefe announcing that its newscasts were broadcast in HD! They were testing HD studio cameras, but they didn't have the proper HD equipment yet.
9. Mariano Yezze teasing some of the stories of America 2's 7pm newscast from late July 2000, including the death of legendary cardiac surgeon René Favaloro:
10. Interesting! It's nice to know that all those videos are back.
11. A montage of the late edition of TVE's Telediario in September 2003, with Beatriz Perez Aranda. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=h4RbJyBNPkg;t=394
12. A filler of Seven News Overnight in 1985. The YouTube account where this video used to be (FLEMISHDOG) was shut down some months ago and he's uploading everything again, but now on the Internet Archive!
13. Seven Nightly News (and Today Tonight) from HSV7 Melbourne on January 8, 1997:
14. A very young Cristina Perez (before her Telefe days) anchoring an early evening update of Nuevediario in January 1996. Includes a teaser of a special report and part of the newscast's graphic package never seen before.
15. Canal 13 in Buenos Aires signing off after a movie on Wednesday, November 7, 2001. I love the stripes floating around the logo. The station resumed its broadcast the following day at 11:30am with The A-Team!
16. A rarity: the intro of El Lado Oscuro, a 2-hour block of sci-fi series that Telefe aired on Saturdays at 10pm between 1997 and 1999, introduced by veteran broadcaster Pancho Ibañez. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=NUplYZgPz_g;t=223 The X-Files, Millennium and Poltergeist: The Legacy were part of the block's lineup.
17. The final segment of the early evening edition of Telefe Noticias from December 17, 1997, with Rosario Lufrano and Franco Salomone, back in the days when the newscast dominated its timeslot (7pm). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=0O4Z9vN2EBc;t=352 Includes a report on Pokémon and convulsions, the weather forecast and closer.
18. A long ID from TVNZ1 in New Zealand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=0O_59e1u6KM;t=0
19. Anyone knows if this theme used by CBS afilliates on their IDs back in the early 1990s (see 7:47-7:51) was exclusively used on the IDs or was an instrumental version of a specific network campaign? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=Jukf_uTWbNo;t=467
20. Excerpts of some Boston TV newscasts (NECN, WBZ, WHDH, WCVB) from early June 1998. It's strange to see Jack Williams anchored on weekends! Did he do that for a short time? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXMZ2FpVmZM
21. Rejoin of the 9pm edition of America Noticias in August 1998, with Enrique Llamas de Madariaga. You'll hear the news theme in the background as he introduces the story: that was something very common on TV back then.
22. Excerpts of the late edition of TVE's Telediario in 2005:
23. The intro of Telegaceta, ATC's newscast, between late 1997 and early 1999:
24. The opener of Edición Sur, a newscast produced by a defunct cable channel called Canal Sur, who used to broadcast from the southern section of Greater Buenos Aires (1995)
