  1. Canal 13's daytime magazine 360 Todo Para Ver covering the Argentinian tour of Luis Miguel in November 1993. The station was the official broadcaster of his concerts. At 4:02 you'll see the program's set with its host Maria Belen Aramburu and a huge spinning globe behind her. That was really expensive and fascinating at the same time! The program offered an update before 1pm, summarizing the show's topics. This one is from September 1993. Maria Belen Aramburu presents this update from the rooftop's living room. In 2000, that place became Canal 13's "glass" studio, where the morning, midday and late night news are produced. I like the shots showing the highways: the view from up there is excellent. And finally... the full theme used between 1993 and 1994, composed by Eddie Sierra:
  2. Some footage of a young Scott Pelley working as a reporter at WFAA in Dallas (1980s):
  3. A promo of USA Network's Latin American service in December 1997, that aired on Telefe. It was voiced by Rodolfo Barili. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=oZlKoTk0wp8;t=107 IIRC, Telefe distributed the channel to cable companies across the country. In those days, USA aired Entertainment Tonight, Hard Copy and Bloomberg Business News, but I don't know if Spanish subtitles appeared on screen.
  4. Anyone knows who composed these Bloomberg themes?
  5. Canal 13 in Buenos Aires signing off after a movie on Wednesday, November 7, 2001. I love the stripes floating around the logo. The station resumed its broadcast the following day at 11:30am with The A-Team!
  6. A rarity: the intro of El Lado Oscuro, a 2-hour block of sci-fi series that Telefe aired on Saturdays at 10pm between 1997 and 1999, introduced by veteran broadcaster Pancho Ibañez. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=NUplYZgPz_g;t=223 The X-Files, Millennium and Poltergeist: The Legacy were part of the block's lineup.
  7. Anyone knows if this theme used by CBS afilliates on their IDs back in the early 1990s (see 7:47-7:51) was exclusively used on the IDs or was an instrumental version of a specific network campaign? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=Jukf_uTWbNo;t=467
  8. Excerpts of some Boston TV newscasts (NECN, WBZ, WHDH, WCVB) from early June 1998. It's strange to see Jack Williams anchored on weekends! Did he do that for a short time? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXMZ2FpVmZM
  9. KEYC's noon newscast in 2007:
  10. A young and handsome 24-year-old Rodolfo Barili anchors this Telefe primetime update on Monday, April 13, 1998, where he also reads the lottery results. He wasn't the main anchor yet: he worked as a reporter/fill-in anchor, and took over the anchor chair in 2002 alongside Cristina Pérez.
  11. The intro of TF1's Ciné Dimanche in March 1998; it's probably one of the earliest appearances of this intro on TV, replacing the one with the Earth, Wind and Fire song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=hC6l3wkzlD0;t=42 (the video includes some commercials too!)
  12. Intro of the program 360: Todo Para Ver from Canal 13 in May 1994. The program was a magazine that included the news of the day, but also had travel and entertainment features. The show aired on weekdays from 1pm to 3pm between 1992 and 1995 and it was pretty succesful. Two of its presenters were Julián Weich and Alejandro Wiebe (a.k.a. Marley), who continued their careers hosting game shows and entertainment programs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=YIdzxQ2R_2w;t=10
  13. The Saturday evening news from ITN on February 19, 1994, anchored by Penny Marshall and David Bobin on sports. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=vU0NX3U4Oes;m=1;s=8
  14. Anyone knows if this theme is production music? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=JJRLVFYVx8E;t=12
  15. SAS7 in Adelaide signing off in 1993:
  16. Some snippets of newscasts from WBZ, WHDH and WCVB in February 1995.
  17. A small junction from Canal 13 on Monday, December 1st, 1997. Includes: the station ID, a goodnight message for children, a bumper, the intro for "El mundo del espectáculo" and a bumper from Artear Argentina, who produced the movie shown that night ("Despabílate Amor"; 1996; directed by Eliseo Subiela)
  18. Intro and headlines of Canal 13's Telenoche from Friday, June 14, 1996, anchored by the legendary duo of Mónica Cahen D'Anvers and César Mascetti. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=CfWVV7L1MWY;m=6;s=51 This graphic package was used between Monday, March 18, 1996 and Friday, March 27, 1998.
  19. A promo campaign from Teledoce (Uruguay) in 1998, where the station highlighted its programming, mostly its own-produced shows, but some brief excerpts of foreign shows (Brazilian soaps, Animaniacs, The X-Files, ER, Timon & Pumbaa, Mirtha Legrand, etc.) and movies could be seen too. The station had its own chopper for news-gathering duties, something very strange for a TV station in a relatively small country!
  20. Noralis Romanos anchoring a Telefe news update on Saturday, August 24, 1996, followed by a promo about a special report that aired the following week. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=QBz0pVoAtVk;m=2;s=50
  21. Canal 9's testcard and some music in 1998 to begin its broadcast day. Despite the station was signing on at 9am to show some educational programming, the "official" sign-on didn't take place until 11am.
  22. A montage of BBC News openers, headlines and closers from 1998 and 1999 (before and during the David Lowe era)
  23. A full broadcast of ABC News Weekend Report from Saturday, March 16, 1974 (anchored by WXYZ's John Kelly!) from ABC News studios in New York.
  24. (NON-NEWS) A promo that aired on Canal 13 from December 1997 to promote the 1998 FIFA World Cup draw and a friendly match. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=HA9dGH7d2Ig;t=57 Anyone knows if it's production music of if it comes from a movie?
  25. Some bumpers, promos and graphics from Canal 13 in 2001 while the station was using a beautiful look involving water and fire, that lasted only a few months. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgItrwakj2s Recorded during commercial breaks of the movies Jurassic Park II and Apollo 13.
