When Alexa was doing the weekend 9pm news with Larry a few years ago ot was terrible i couldnt stomach it but to be fair no other O&O station in Chicago has to turn the teleprompter read the lines and have a personality while doing it also have some producer screaming in your ear every two seconds kudos to all the current WFLD talent

I honestly dont think its the worst idea every pther station does a rebrodcast of their news except WGN plus WFLDs 12am ratings aeent that good no ones is except with the exception of WMAQs Late Night and WBBMs Late Late

After seeing Brad Edwards fill in on the morning news this morning he should be promoted. Feeder also complimented a segment he did this morning.

The video board panels in their main studio changes live images

No in their main studio its a video wall kind of like WMAQs just smaller

I know they dont beat WGN for obvious reasons or CBS 2 because of the price is right but how does NBC 5 do at 11AM

11 am ratings for WBBM WMAQ and WLS AND 12pm for WFLD? For November anyone?

WFLD has updated their 'windows' to capture the Christmas scene of the city

Kudos to them they uncovered the window

And i could understand why they covered the newsroom one as it can possibly provide a glare in the daytime their newsroom looks the best in the market but at night it kimd of looks dark and gloomy

But at least the weather center portion of the window isnt covered

Yes they have i mean the newsroom still looks modern tough but the set is a disgrace they need to get a backdrop durant and mabye it will look better who knows what the future will hold for them
