Is the evil empire that is AT&T going to say no to Disney the mouse no one says no to the mouse. Charter Spectrum & Disney got a deal done last month with no message from neither side and went into overtime as the deal expired on Aug 2 and deal was reached in mid Aug without the channels going dark. Kinda surprised that Direct TV signed a deal with ACC Network in the spring time knowing they had to get a deal done with Disney in the fall.
I never remember TV stations playing the National Anthem when I was younger on any of the TV stations although I was in bed sleeping. Wonder if it will be trend as Gray has started playing The National Anthem in June and now Nexstar.
Not that AT&T & DirecTV viewers can see the message that Nexstar has running on Wood TV, WOTV & WXSP telling them to bring the TV stations back. Which if the TV stations go dark don't run a scroll 24/7 use the stations website for that. AT&T has message on those channels that are effected saying how Nexstar is wrong.
I see a major fine & scolding as well and no buying TV stations for a couple of years. No way do I see Sinclair going bye bye bye just my opinion.
I think the weatherman should have kept it in house and not bash Code Red on air like he did which I think was with local bosses just kept it private. Although Code Red wasn't a right name for it WWMT never used Code Red they use Serve Weather 3 that is there branding for weather forecast since the Freedom days they have used it.
I see some hopefuls running for president want the DOJ to deny Sinclair of buying the RSN's which I doubt that will happen which is just pandering is all. Plus DOJ wanted Disney to sell the RSN's because they would own most of the sports rights.
I don't believe cities should do that both Charter Spectrum & Northwest will get a deal done and cities should stay out of it and not take sides which Jackson & Yuma are favoring Northwest which isn't right. Where I lived Kazoo didn't take action against Suckyvision oh I mean Cablevision in 97 when Wood TV was off for a year wasn't until couple days before Super Bowl 32 until an agreement happen. And it wasn't about money it was a dispute about putting Wood TV's weather channel on which is now WXSP.
