  1. If you were running Sinclair and you had to make a decision to keep the lower rated KOKH or buy the higher rated KFOR which one should Sinclair do? Keep the lower rated KOKH and sell the higher rated KFOR or buy the higher rated KFOR and sell the lower rated KOKH?
  2. Where does Oklahoma City stations rank in news ratings?
  3. Nah I'd use paper if the iPads didn't work
  4. That's like from 1998-2011 KOCO's newscasts were known as "Eyewitness News 5" in 2012 they added "KOCO" to the Eyewitness News 5 name making it known as "KOCO Eyewitness News 5" and then when KOCO got new graphics and music in 2013 they dropped the Eyewitness News brand/format and became known as "KOCO 5 News"
  5. That makes sense probably AT&T wanted nothing to do with owning a television station
  6. Did Time Warner competely sell off WPCH? Last time I knew WPCH was operated under the LMA by Meredith
  7. And if the iPads didn't work what do you make the anchors use? Paper Scripts?
  8. WUPA would go to CBS and start a news department WPCH would replace WUPA as a CW affiliate (given that Time Warner owns the other 50% of the CW) WGCL would go Independent IF that happens but I highly doubt it
  9. I agree although the only conflicts for a Hearst-Meredith merger would be in Greenville/Spartanburg and at least 1 or 2 other markets where both Hearst and Meredith own a station
  10. Also what's going on with Hearst stations adding newscasts? KOCO has added a 9am and 9pm Newscasts, KMBC will be adding a 4pm Newscast and lengthening their 9pm Newscast on KCWE to 60 minutes, KCCI, KETV, among others are the recent 9pm News on Me TV additions. I wouldn't be surprised if more Hearst stations add additional newscasts as for me we might be seeing a 3rd OKC station with a 4pm Newscast (KOCO) because of all of the newscast expanding the Hearst stations (lately) have been doing.
  11. Brian Brinkley promoted to Sports Director at KFOR http://www.tvnewscheck.com/marketshare/2016/02/10/kfor-promotes-25-year-station-vet-to-sports-director/
  12. That's one of the reasons why I rather watch Sports than News. The Mainstream Media is too liberal and too biased.
  13. Yes I did no one mentioned about it on here so when I saw your report regarding it I decided to post it on here.
  14. Some Newscast changes across the State of Colorado: In Denver: KDVR has brought back it's 10pm Newscast on Saturdays now competing with KCNC, KUSA and KMGH for News at 10pm 7 Days a week. In Grand Junction: KFQX has added a 6:30pm Newscast and it's produced by CBS affiliate KREX.
  15. That's what I thought because it seems as if in the promos it says Fox 25 Morning News from 5-10am but according to the TV Guide it was Fox 25 Morning News from 5-9am with Good Day Oklahoma from 9-10am.
  16. Yeah I noticed that "Good Day Oklahoma" got replaced by "Fox 25 Morning News" in the 9am hour so they just decided to drop Good Day and added another hour to Fox 25 Morning News is that correct?
  17. TXA might since how the only sports programing they got left are the Stars, High School Sports, etc. since how the Texas Rangers moved to Fox Sports Southwest exclusively this past season. As for WBFS no chance of WFOR bringing back local news for WBFS.
  18. He's going back to Hearst he used to be the Sports Director at WESH for a number of years till he left.
  19. Apparently you didn't the "we'll see about that" part. I didn't say it is or isn't going to happen I said we'll see.
  20. I'm surprised that KOKH still hasn't expanded into 4am let alone 4:30am they're still the only OKC Station to start Morning News at 5am.
  21. Probably a tell-tell sign of a possible Time Warner-CBS Merger? We'll see about that one.
  22. So does that mean they become WJCL 22 News or WJCL News 22? and when will they get Hearst graphics for all of their newscasts?
