  1. I'm with you on that one. I give Cox the best shot at getting KUSI IMO.
  2. I'm noticing that Nexstar is starting to implement the "Local (Channel Number)" mandate.
  3. Good to see Meg back on TV and I thought they we're going to add a 10am Good Day Oklahoma but I was wrong and I apologize Roly FYI: It looks like it'll run Good Day Oklahoma at 10am until Oct. 5th and that's when Living Oklahoma will take over the 10am slot. To me at some point KOKH will have to start scaling back court shows and replace those with additional newscasts and/or first run syndicated shows because Judge Judy might retire who knows which other judges may decide to quit doing Courtroom TV shows.
  4. That's the 2nd Station group to launch a Sunday morning political talk show.
  5. According to my TV guide it shows "Good Day Oklahoma" from 9-11am. Also speaking of KOKH is there a reason why they don't have a morning newscast before 5am like what KWTV/KFOR/KOCO have?
  6. That's the same thing they did to Jeff George (Chief Meteorologist at KOKH in Oklahoma City) he used to do the weather in the morning with Jon Slater doing the 9 and 10pm Weather then once Jon left they moved Jeff to the evenings.
  7. That's the 2nd News Director that KFOR have lost this decade. Seems like there's a lot of turmoil within the KFOR Newsroom in the last several years what's up with that?
  8. Let alone 4:30. Is there any other English Language producing News Stations in the State of Oklahoma that still starts their news at 5am besides KOKH?
  9. A Newscast Expansion to report: Here in Oklahoma, Fox affiliate KOKH-TV in Oklahoma City has expanded "Good Day Oklahoma" into the 10am Hour starting next week it'll look like this: 5-9am: Fox 25 Morning News 9-11am: Good Day Oklahoma
  10. When does WEWS' Sun. Morning Newscast start? Next weekend?
  11. KETV is adding a 9pm Newscast for their digital subchannel MeTV Omaha starting this Monday (Sept. 14th)
  12. Apon before KSHB used to work for KOKH here in Oklahoma
  13. I wish people would just use the "Ignore" button if they don't like someone. That would make the internet world a whole lot better IMO.
  14. That's what I'm wondering too I haven't heard a single thing about it ever since they made the announcement last year I wonder if they decided to abandon it or not?
  15. I wonder if "The Now" has expanded to KJRH in Tulsa?
  16. I don't know how well the ratings would do in Milwaukee if The Now expanded to Milwaukee
  17. And I think that show is attributed to the decline of the ratings at KSHB
  18. Not bad on the graphics department though I don't think that show will last long.
  19. What about Griffin Communications? How long do you see them hanging on to their 4 TV stations in OKC and Tulsa?
  20. Fresh branding new set, graphics and music. They've used the same music for all of my life. They debuted the Theme song in 1996 was born in 1998 and all I've remembered branding wise has either been "Oklahoma's NewsChannel 4" or just "NewsChannel 4" My suggested branding is either "Channel 4 Eyewitness News" or "Channel 4 Action News" and use the same theme song WTTV and several other Tribune stations use (same thing with graphics) and the new set should be designed by the same group that designed both KOCO's and KWTV's sets (FX Group).
  21. Here in Oklahoma, KFOR's set is about the same age as KUSI's is. Both need to be replaced A.S.A.P
  22. Agreed and I don't get Tulsa News I get OKC News instead so it's impossible for me to actually tell the difference between KOCO's Hearst Weather Graphics and KJRH's Scripps Weather Graphics.
