KOTV is currently closed for deep cleaning of the station after one of there workers tested positive for the virus KWTV stepped in to broadcast statewide tonight. They said the guy is doing well and that he had no contact with anyone in the news and hasn't been at the station for two weeks.
-
All stations are doing it in Tulsa.
-
It passed close to them

Meteorologist Mike Grogan that left KOTV a couple of months ago has announced that he is remaining in Tulsa and joining KOKI-TV and the FOX23 Severe Weather Team starts next week.
-
KWTV's is actually known as SkyNews 9HD or as Bob Mills SkyNews 9HD and KOTV's is known as Osage SkyNews 6HD. And KFOR's is known as Air Comfort Solutions Chopper 4.

And I believe KWCH had it a longer because they were the first station I remember broadcasting a newscast for FOX Kansas. -
Sinclair Broadcast Group - General Discussion

So Jay Prater chief Meteorologist at KAKE tv in Wichita posted this on his Facebook starting tonight at 9pm KAKE will now produce FOX Kansas News at 9 Sinclair owned station newscasts. Added some photos that Jay took on set and that Dave Grant (a Kake reporter) took they are using the old gray television graphics package instead of using Sinclair's graphics like KSN used when they produced the newscast. -
Plus KAMR in Amarillo is also hiring for a Meteorologist since Britany Trumpy left for Myrtle Beach. And I believe KXXV in Waco is also.
-
Mike Grogan has left KOTV after 9 years Christmas night was his last broadcast hasn't announced yet where he will be heading next.
-
Kalee Dionne made her on air debut this morning on WFAA filling in for Greg Fields. She will be Monday-Friday 11am and 4pm
-
Haven't seen it posted so here it is KAMR'S Meteorologist Britney Trumpy is leaving for Myrtle Beach station WBTW-TV after 2 years in Amarillo she accepted this job to be closer to her family.
-
I saw the weather graphics on facebook and YouTube looks good.
-
Yes both KWTV and KOTV have their own helicopters and they will share the copters when either one is down for maintenance and during severe weather coverage.
-
That I'm aware of they did use Ranger 8 helicopter for a few severe weather coverage towards the end of the usage of the helicopter.
-
KTUL used to have a helicopter but since 2011 they haven't had one. Why KJRH doesn't get a helicopter who knows as for KOKI Cox probably doesn't want to spend the money especially with the sell to Apollo.
-
She didn't fully say all she said on her last day at WFAA was she is going to spend time with her family before starting her next pursuit.
-
She is a lawyer now but I think does the news on the side
-
I doubt it but it would depend on his contract he signed with Tribune before the sell.

Wow that I'm shocked by but I'm glad they do. They had the old package for years especially when I lived down here in 2015 but I see they keep the weather graphics the same. -

These are what KJRH have been showing before the newscasts and 1 during the news when they are doing a "covering" a county spot.
