  1. I have noticed that a lot of stations the used CBS Enforcer are now using CBS Local. My question is, is Gari retiring CBS Enforcer?
  2. The only difference is that anchors at KMOV get chairs, while over at ANF, the anchors stand the whole time.
  3. My biggest critique on Grayone, is that the L3s don't go from end to end on the screen. Just wasting space. (I know this is probably a relic of the 4:3 aspect ratio of the first 60 years of television)
  4. Found a KMOV promo on youtube, it shows a taste of the new graphics:
  5. I thought MSNBC change logo typefaces in early 2022?
  6. From what I have heard, Hearst and Graham run their stations well. Also they don't own as many stations when compared to Gray, Nexstar, or Sinclair, which allows them to invest in the quality of their stations.
  7. Not surprised by any of this, NBC News Daily is probably the best newscast out there. The way it is formatted and/presented is probably the key to its success.
  8. came across this while browsing the web: It appears (correct me if i am wrong) that WOIO/WUAB are beginning the switch to GrayOne. Additionally they are also using the same FIRST ALERT WEATHER logo as WANF: WOIO/WUAB WANF
  9. Why should a Flat VO matter in this case, isn't the point of the voice-over to clearly introduce the newscast to the viewer? the lack of emotion is important in that case.
  10. Not to start a list, but I believe that WANF launched a "live on five" newscast recently.
  11. Could you elaborate? That article appears to be behind a paywall.
  12. If WTMJ gets lower ratings than CBS58, I would be shocked as CBS 58 is basically just an afterthought in SE Wisconsin.
  13. With the premier of Investigate TV+ coming on the 11th next week, does anyone think that a lot of stations will switch to the GrayONE graphics? I certainly would not find it surprising, given the publicity of the premier of Investigate TV+. Also, WAFF in Huntsville has been airing promos that show pieces of the new graphics in the background of shots. This started in the early days of July, so they must be approaching the unveiling of the new graphics, hence my theory of graphics switch on the 11th. Thoughts?
  14. I am currently watching WUPA, and according to some promos, they seem to be rebranding as Atlanta 69.
