  1. Then air it on cable... oh right... Cable is dying as we speak. NEXSTAR?! I mean, I know thay Nexstar might not be the best Broadcasting company/corporation but they don't need to be involved in any of that. Also, I am absolutely sure that the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) wanted a basic network airing Dr. Phil programming, not any of the stuff that is being shown that just sends them (TBN) into culture wars. It should also be reminded that even the Tri-State Christian Television Network (TCT) isn't safe. (From CNN. —> https://www.cnn.com/2025/07/02/media/dr-phil-cable-network-bankruptcy)
  2. That was the point and the reason why I said "Not now, of course" because the FCC just wants less regulation for broadcasters.
  3. It is true that Allen got a little too stupid but its safe to say that calling stations damaged goods isn't exactly what people want to hear/see. So, basically, have them (Nexstar or Gray) have a majority of the potential revenue in One particular area or state by making Allen sell ALL of the AMG stations to them... Then, basically run them as ... [Checks notes.] ...Semi-satellites of existing stations? Deregulation aside, how would they let this happen? And would that actually be fair for the viewers? Also, doesn't the FCC (Not now, of course) make sure that not only the top 4 stations in a certain area can't be co-owned, but also trying to (semi) clamp down on ... for example, a NBC affiliate on 9.1 having a ABC-affiliated subchannel on 9.2? Also, didn't Nexstar stop bulk-buying stations after 2019 with Tribune? Same thing with Gray Media with the Raycom Media and the Meredith Corporation stations in 2019, and 2021 respectively? If they were in the buying mood, they would've bought a lot more stations in 2024–2025.
  4. ...Even though, yet, Nexstar or Gray isn't in the mood to buy the whole Allen chain. Plus, if the station count and the stations in the area that Gray or Nexstar and AMG have stations in, some of the stations are successful enough that the failing station waiver doesn't work AND, like I mentioned, yet, it won't be approved. Plus, what would they even do with the stations anyway?
  5. I am hoping that Scripps (yes, them.) would aquire KXGN-TV to fit in with the Montana Television Network.
  6. Yes, I agree. Everyone else other than Coastal is better in this case. Even Sinclair could be a better choice.
  7. My 2 cents on the issue about Allen Media.... I don't think Gray Media is going to aquire them. Gray already had other things to do, like make WANF independent, for them to care about what Allen Media is doing. And with the current FCC rules in place, they can't own some of the stations, and they definitely can't place the Allen stations programming on a Gray Media station and sell them. Plus, Allen has yet to find a buyer for their stations. Saying Gray Media will just buy Allen Media sounds a little childish in my opinion.
  8. After it (WCIX ch.6/WFOR-TV ch.4) had a callsign change and a channel swap...
  9. WICZ is a distant 2nd place between WBNG-TV, so yea.
  10. I dunno if WDAF-TV is gonna air the segments, but if they do, welp.
  11. Oh boy... what is going on in South Florida? WSVN having both ABC and FOX at the same time is... interesting.
  12. Dang. I really need expected that KTIV and The Springfield, MO stations to air Cardinals games, given the fact they're closer to Kansas City, and therefore the Kansas City Royals.
  13. Wot? But then, who would be in 4th place, KSMQ?
  14. Well, say hello to the new medium... Political Threats I really hope NPR and PBS survive this term.
  15. Nice, my FOX affiliate. (WDAF-TV)
  16. Like literally, how can the FCC be considered fair if they do stuff like that to NPR and PBS?? Like couldn't anyone in Congress (Democrats, 'casue... GOP can't be trusted to help PBS) tell the FCC to knock it off and follow their guidelines that they have to be impartial? Yea, I do agree, given that... Lord, help them.
  17. Bruh, just saying, if even Fox News won't show them, then that says something.
  18. Did they (WFFT) just removed the FOX out their branding 'Fox 55'?
  19. ...which is why KFVS brands it's coverage area as "The Heartland".
  20. KDNL pops-up. No seriously about the whole thing about Allen Media, what would happen to KWWL and WSIL?? I hope they're okay.
  21. I mean, KUSI-TV's former owners owned stations in Beaumont and Corpus Christi, Texas (KBMT and KIII respectively)
  22. Yea, since the fact that (besides for the non-commercial Channel 11, KTWU) WIBW-TV was the only commercial VHF station in Topeka. I don't know if it's gonna be a extention of KCTV (I hope not.)
  23. Which will probably be no problem to KOLN-KGIN since their the news leader in Nebraska, but hey... KLKN exists. That's and the changes at KQHA-KTVO is probably benefitting Gray too much. It MUST be stopped.
  24. Plus—in a way—it's one of the legacy* Scripps stations having been aquired in 1986 with Tampa Bay's WFTS due to the CapCities–ABC merger. *Legacy stations in this case means that Scripps Howard Broadcasting/The E. W. Scripps signed on/bought the station before the M&A's in 2002 and beyond.
