CBSNewYork.com Gets Update.

Looks like the changes include the CW affiliated websites by CBS.

(Harder to tell, but they use the same style footer, and what looks like the exact same horizontal border between the header and navigation bar, and content. It doesn't even look like it is customized for each city, but a generic big-city skyline. I can tell, since DC really doesn't have a skyline to speak of.)

Without a doubt, one of the worst, most confusing, slowest loading websites of any tv station or network. The web address is deluged by complaints from the public saying how no one can find anything they're looking for. Even the people from within think its a horror. The radio division takes phone calls everyday from listeners asking where to find a story that they have been sent to for more information. The desk assistants waste more time on calls like that than getting their work done. One of the biggest complaints from each division is they have no control over the content. It's like it all has to emanate from this one massive clearinghouse.

It never should have been grouped into one massive website for tv and radio

It's also a shame because I think the pre-Wordpress design was one of the best looking and most ergonomic local TV news website designs out there.

The site still sucks ass. Like one of the people said, it's confusing and I wish that there was more video content for the news stories. I wish it was all separate again because this combining of TV and Radio stations on one website is one big Epic Fail, especially with the CBS New York site.

It's funny, because one of CBS Chicago's stations don't even use the website name. CBSChicago.com is supposed to serve CBS2, Newsradio WBBM, and 670 The Score, yet WSCR still refers to "670thescore.com" on the air.
