Chopper4 36 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 The show was good last night, at 10. The pace of the show seemed a little faster, more enjoyable, with the two anchors. And we almost got a full sports report, around 10h35 or 10h40. I liked it. It's going in the right direction.
anchorman 96 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I hope PIX realizes that WNYW is beatable at 10pm and that with the right mix they can really make an inroads at that hour. Dari and Steve are a very weak anchor team together and PIX should capitalize.

I thought just the explanation was a waste of time, 90 seconds, if I am correct, and I assume it will be completely useless on a nightly basis.

IceManNYR 240 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 For the AM news Lisa is back to doing weather 4am-6am and doing a feature segment during 6am-9am. Dan anchors 4am-6am then reports for 6am-9am. Linda is doing weather 6am-9am. Julie is doing traffic 4am-9am.

NYNews 54 Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Like last night, the anchors are not sitting in their main area with the 4 tv screens behind them. Are they finally removing those tv screen and replacing it with a picture of the NY skyline?
IceManNYR 240 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 On the AM news they have stopped using the area of the set that had the older LCD Monitors and colored walls. They have moved to the other wall that has 4 newer LCD monitors side by side where they usually do interviews. Tonight at 10pm the regular desk and LCD monitor wall are back in use. Can't tell if they made any changes.

BehindNYNews 147 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I have to say, PIX 11, specifically the morning news is becoming much more watchable. A lot of the "sex talk" etc.. is gone and it is much more appropriate but still fun. I think they do have more to do though, new set, graphics (especially traffic graphics), move Linda Church to evenings replacing Mr. G, put Chis Knowles in the whole morning show and Lisa Mateo can be entertainment reporter.
