rkolsen 1697 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 The other day I mentioned that a group of four teens were able to walk into Studio E at BBC's New Broadcasting House. Anyway the group of teens posted a video of what they called as a prank of them wandering around the BBC headquarters. Apparently they got in by saying the had a radio appearance and went through security. It's pretty disturbing to think they could walk through the HQ unimpeded. They posted the following videos on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SSfJDyguKI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MCyF1QO6bU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lE0CnJyJLig
justin2kx 240 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Seriously, they're diluting the term 'prank' where AND when EVERYTHING is a JOKE. It's NOT. Even in pranks, there are BOUNDARIES. Lawd, knock some sense into these attention seeking 'kids'.
Action Newsroom 1317 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I feel sorry for the BBC (not very sorry though); this has to be their biggest embarrassment in a long time. But they need to ramp up security from now on, as to prevent further foolishness from other idiots desperate to go viral on social media. And yet I bet those morons doing this stunt must've thought this was the most awesome thing ever in the end (they made the news, for Christ's sake!).

Can't remember if there's been any break in on air since a group of lesbians broke in 1988. Fortunately for the BBC these geniuses didn't look at the program schedule while they were wandering around the building. If they were five minutes early they'd have been in before the end of the broadcast.

(sorry for confusion) But yeah, the Beeb is lucky.

I was just thinking an on air embarrassment given the thread. That being said their BIGGEST embarrassment has to have been the Jimmy Saville child sex abuse scandal.
Eat News 4745 Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 I thought there was a discussion about the BBC and plans on the Queens death... Here is some more from the daily mail about the stunning minute details. One hell of a read. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4327210/Operation-London-Bridge-Plans-Queen-s-death.html
