You can add KVAL to the list.

You're 3 months too late there, man

New station. WOAI. But sister station KABB is still using the old Glass gfx.

Vid courtesy of dma37dude of YT.

Don't like half-assing. Either both get the new gfx simultanenously or don't do it at all.

KABB is getting a hybrid package, and it's taking longer to iron out the bugs since they're the only station that is going to have it in the group.

I suspect y'all will probably hate it, but stay tuned.

This should be interesting.  I personally will be happy to see a station take the graphics and customize it...as long as they do it right.

I'm actually surprised it wasn't KABB that got the standard graphics since they're the legacy station in that duopoly.

It's no surprise that since Sinclair has taken over WOAI, that it has gotten preferential treatment over KABB.

When the graphics do launch, you'll notice that the standard package would have indeed looked better on KABB given that the FOX 29 logo already fits the color scheme. Want to guess the color scheme for the hybrid package? Look no further than the color scheme on WOAI's logo.

They may have gotten the new graphics, but KABB still has the better set.

Looking at the video above (and past pictures of WOAI's look), their set is tiny, cramped, and when it is used in this era of social distancing on camera, the set looks like a corporate boardroom and the array of shots looks like a zoom meeting.

How do y’all know that KABB is getting a hybrid or “lite” version of the package is it going to look different and better. Different iconography and etc?

Here is a screenshot of the open

What a terrible drone shot to use. For a mid-tier US city the Tulsa skyline is actually pretty interesting, and they decided to use a shot that cuts off the top of the BOK building?

Hopefully you will like this picture they used for the open for 6pm.

The 6p open of NewsChannel8 is one of the best ways to do a Sinclair open.

They really did a good job customizing the open to make it more unique.

So, KTUL is back to being called NewsChannel 8 now? How long ago did they decide to do that?

Its newscasts were still using the Tulsa's Channel 8 News moniker up until the graphics change. That KTUL decided to revert to NewsChannel 8 is interesting, since the NewsChannel brand (and news brands along those lines) has somehow been seen as outdated lately, but it sounds better than the old title.

WMSN has gotten the new graphics.

We're into 2020 and WMSN is STILL using FOX searchlights in their logo, despite FOX dropping it in 1999. Amazing times to be alive in.
