Update on this- The Saint Paul Pioneer Press is reporting on a sexual harassment lawsuit that Clair has filed against KSTP... But it also sheds light on her departure from that station with management claiming that she was terminated from KSTP for poor performance which was also the reason for moving her from evenings to middays (which KSTP claims that it was not a demotion as her compensation was unchanged).

The lawsuit is only against the station, although the article does also mention former ND Kirk Varner and former Chief Met Dave Dahl specifically, as well as the "KSTP male meteorologists' refusal to work constructively...".

Editorial note- Posted the Yahoo News version of the story as the Pioneer Press keeps stories behind a paywall.

You beat me to it! I was gonna post this.

But in terms of this, it could get ugly and fast.

Scott Jones from FTVLive is reporting in his newsletter that Troy Bridges, former WKMG meteorologist who's now at WWJ-TV Detroit... isn't going to last much longer there.

He's joining the new news operation at WUPA Atlanta and will start with morning weather cut ins come Monday, August 18th, before the news operation launches in full next month.

This move makes sense for him, considering he's a Georgia native and his alma mater is the University of Georgia.

One of the last original members of WBMA ABC 33/40 is about to hang it up for good.

Brenda Ladun will be leaving at the end of the month after nearly 30 years there, obviously when she left WBRC for WBMA because of the whole ABC switch hoopla at the time.

Once she leaves, the legendary James Spann will be one of the last originals still left there and THE last from their dream team of Brenda, Dave Baird, James, and Mike Raita.

If you've seen any opens regarding WANF lately, you may not have seen Shon Gables in any of them. That's because she's taken a leave of absence for personal reasons and has been off their airwaves since February.

Today, it became official. She's not going back.

Remember when WOIO produced a weeknight 9pm newscast on WUAB the first time it had the MyNetworkTV affiliation?

Starting Tuesday, September 2nd (Monday the first is Labor Day), the newscast comes back after a 7-year absence (this is according to TV Passport). This time, though, the block will be 9-11pm instead of 9-10:30pm as before, meaning Sports Extra will remain at 10:45pm.

This also means that WUAB will be airing MyNetworkTV programming from 8-9pm and 11pm-12am.

I didn't know she joined in 2005. But today, WTVJ colleagues came together in the newsroom to celebrate Roxanne Vargas' 20 years with the station.

I know I don't watch WTVJ as much as I do with WSVN. However, Roxy is one of the few from there that I enjoy watching. I'm only surprised she's been there 20 years as I thought she joined much later but wow. I offer my congrats to Roxy indeed!

Davis Nolan has officially retired as of earlier tonight after a 44-year amazing run at WKRN Nashville.

At one point, he was 1/4th of the station's dream team alongside Anne Holt (who was also on this special), Bob Mueller (who hosted the special), and Steve Phillips.

Based on the time of Roly's Post regarding WOIO/WUAB's upcoming 9:00 P.M. News starting on September 1, I would have been scooped again on Cleveland Newscasts!  I learned about the Newscast during WOIO's 3:00 P.M. Newscast this afternoon!  Living in Cleveland is going to be very interesting this fall!!  I thought that Roly's Changing Newscasts was a Labor of Love!!  Local News Talk proves that Roly shares information that I absorb!!

Roxanne was a secretary or something such when she started at WTVJ. There was a lot of drama surrounding her doing on-air work because WTVJ staff with on-air experience and journalism education got passed over by the then bosslady who had her do on air work when they were broke and waiting on the WPLG buyout. Let's just say not everything is as it seems over there

Wow. I did not know that story.

But hey, her colleages all seem to love her so it must be a different story now.

WDJT just had to interrupt their 5:30 p.m. newscast and cut over to CBS 58 Sunday Morning due to a gas leak in the building; the West Allis FD asked them to evacuate.

I had to post this here because its the closest you'll ever see WSVN call themselves FOX 7. Also, for the first time ever, WSVN is adopting a weather brand... the 7 StormTeam (Next Weather, First Alert Weather, and The Weather Authority are already taken in the market).

May be an image of 4 people and text that says 'STORM TEAM FOX abc 18 7.2'

Congrats are in order to Doug Kammerer for 15 years at WRC-TV.

It also brings out an excuse to showcase old clips of the late, great Jim Vance.

ABC News reporter Phil Lipof is leaving to become 4 & 5pm anchor at KUSA in Denver, which seems like an interesting move considering it’ll likely end up part of some unholy Nexstar KDVR/KWGN consolidation within a year.

Replacing a big-time legend in Tom Green, too, so I'm shocked he's doing this.
