WAVY will debut its 4pm newscast. https://twitter.com/WAVY10Bob/status/434470682181648384 I was wondering when they'd step up to the plate and do this. Supposedly 3 blows everyone else out of the water ratings-wise at 4. Then again, they say they blow everyone else out of the water everywhere else, too.

MidwestTV 1239 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 KSHB debuted it too. About time. It's very nice...now they need to freaking upgrade their live stream.
Samantha 2898 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 So did KNXV. It really is, though some people will not like it being responsive around here.

WAVY 10 Fan 233 Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Only thing I have to go on right now is hearing a promo during WGNT's airing of Judge Judy; but it appears WTKR is bringing Les Smith back to anchor NewsChannel 3 at 5:00 alongside Barbara Ciara (the ad making a reference to their time together at WAVY).

Courtesy of friends at TVspy WFAA made it official that News 8 Daybreak and rotating midday anchor Cynthia Izaguirre will take the helm at 5 & 10pm starting March 10th. Shelly Slater will now add the 4pm solo anchoring duties, she'll remain co-anchor of the 6pm newscasts. and Jason Wheeler will be moved back to the weekend evening newscasts in the first weekend in March.
