Yea, well they also had to re-build their current set and get their programming back on the air.

Well, I guess by next month we could see something again this is my speculation, based on what nynewsguy has said. I personally think its a bit foolish to go ahead and spend a lot of money to build a new set so quickly since they have just gotten this one they have now repaired and rebuilt. Regis and Kelly continues to air in the same studios so it doesn't seem like something thats gonna happen any time soon at least. There hasn't been any real notice of anything. And if they were to debut something by September, now would be the time to begin rebuilding and moving everything. I noticed that they added new anchor chairs to the current set this week, so it feels like nothing is really gonna happen anytime soon... (so perhaps by November?) I'm guessing that they may do this in time for the November and December sweeps, as that is typically the time when people stay indoors as the daylight hours are the shortest during this time of year. Hopefully that will be the time when we'll see ABC in its new Glory days. The music typically comes first and then the graphics and so forth. So I think it'll be a slow and gradual change during the fall months until all of the changes take place by hopefully January 2008. The current set they have now will also be used though, it has been stated by nynewsguy that the current set will be used for the Noon and 5PM broadcasts, it may also be used for Eyewitness News updates that have taken placed in the newsroom. The new set will serve as the set for "This Morning", 6PM and 11PM.
