KOKI-TV FOX23 in Tulsa has put a new crawl and time and temperature bug on air the only bad thing about it is the time and temperature bug is small above the 23.

Haha. I feel like they've always been neglected by Cox. A strong product, just needs some visual work.

Off-topic, nice collection of race cars. I have something similar to that with my set up as well.

 

Back on topic, I wonder if this is a preview of what might be new graphics coming to KOKI sometime this year?

At least this current set is better then what they had from 2002 till 2011. The old set was a thrown together set.

Thank you.  And that's what I'm wondering I was looking around online and found this made my a guy named Jeff Seed when he worked for Hothaus Creative in Houston, Tx. I doubt that this will be the graphics but it looks really good.

Those were all ideas that were pitched by Jeff Steed at the time, but never used. If KOKI or any of the other Cox stations receive new graphics in the future, they probably won't look anything like that.

Just want to throw this out there - not to rain on anybody's parade. New graphics could be coming, but also they could have just received a new ticker CG system and this is what they came up with when they had to rebuild their crawl.

That looks like a custom version of what KTRK is using now. Here's a comparison:

I wonder what the KTRK on screen bug looks like compared to that of KOKI. And I'm getting ABC O&O vibes with that pkg I think imo it looks better than the pre-Fox O&O KTVU pkg

Looks very similar. FOX has the Red & Black look. While ABC13 has the Red, White, and blue representing' Texas. But the real differences between them is I still think FOX Affiliates even network O&Os they still emphasize in the Letters I can clearly see the X like look or angles on FOX23. Even the FOX O&O that have a completely different graphics package have emphasizes with the "F". or in between it. While ABC13 is usually has the basic blocky look and emphasizes in shapes.

FOX loves the using of "FOX" in there respective packages, or love emphasize the searchlights.
