Huge improvement! Less "PowerPoint-y" and looks like it fits a major market much better than the previous graphics.

I should mention it is just weather graphics at this time.. I did read someplace from one of the staffers that it will eventually be a whole revamp/refresh

The choice of light blue and purple in the title bars kind of hearkins back to the late 2000s - early 2010s-era graphics. You know, these...

 

 

Wonder if the entire on-air look will go back to this color scheme again.

While the weather side got new graphics, this week, the 10am Daytime Chicago got a heavy update, a little earlier this month.

Also, the first promos are out for the new, 3pm Spotlight Chicago, and I'm glad to see that the program will being going in a different direction, graphics-wise.
