WGNO 1996 News Theme....a very unique and interesting sounding package.

WTVJ 1988 News Theme....I love jazzy themes and this was a very classy and jazzy package. It was very South Florida.

WFOR 1995 News Theme....same for WTVJ's 88 theme.

WBBM 1991 News Theme....very tabloidy and cool. I liked it.

WCPO 2001 News Theme....not sure why, I just like it.

That actually is the name of the package... :)

 

The WABI 2001 News Package is pretty good, though it sucks they've reduced it to essentially just under 10 cuts when it comes to on-air useage these days.

KGTV's 1994-1998 News Theme....very modern for a 90's theme and a hard hitting package.

During a time when my family had to use the antenna (where we could get some of the Baltimore stations), I was fascinated by WMAR's news theme during the mid-1990s. Not sure if it had a name, but still.

I'd agree about the WBZ themes, especially the 1986 and 1990 ones. Another good theme is the KGTV theme from the late '80s/early '90s.
